NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 7 - 13, 2011

FOX TAKES THE WEEK WITH FIVE NIGHTLY WINS

With victories on five of seven nights, FOX won last week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers and outperformed the next highest-rated network (CBS) by +62% in the core adult demo. Season to date, FOX continues to dominate the competition with a half of a ratings point lead over the No. 2 network among Adults 18-49 (3.5 vs. 3.0). Key highlights from last week include:

· FOX won Monday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54 and for the first time this season, Total Viewers.

· HOUSE was the #1 program of the night among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and scored its second highest Total Viewers audience of the season (11.1 Mil.)

· At 9p THE CHICAGO CODE delivered a 2.0/6 among Adults 18-49 and ranked second in the 9pm hour among Adults 18-34.

· On Tuesday, FOX's comedy block won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Adults 25-54.

· At 8p GLEE posted a 4.6/14 among Adults 18-49, up +5% from its most recent telecast (4.4/12 on 2/22/11), and delivered its highest number of Total Viewers since week two (excluding post-Super Bowl telecast)

· RAISING HOPE followed with a 2.7/8 among Adults 18-49, up +13% from its regular telecast two weeks prior (2.4/7 on 2/22/11).

· TRAFFIC LIGHT closed the night with a 1.5/4 among Adults 18-49.

· FOX once again dominated Wednesday and Thursday, easily winning both nights thanks to AMERICAN IDOL and its Thursday BONES original.

· On Wednesday AMERICAN IDOL posted an 8.1/23 among Adults 18-49, won the night across the board and outperformed the 4-network competition by +37% in the core adult demo and +22% in Total Viewers. Compared to the previous Wednesday, IDOL was up +4% in A18-49 (8.1 vs. 7.8) and up +7% in Total Viewers (24.4 vs. 22.8 Mil.)

· FOX also won Thursday night across all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated network for the night by +61% in A18-49 (5.0 vs. CBS' 3.1) and +28% in Total Viewers (16.4 vs. CBS' 12.8 Mil.)

· So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL has retained 95% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 (8.6/23 vs. 9.1/24, through Top 12 Results, 3/17/10) and 100% in Total Viewers (24.7 vs. 24.6 Mil.)

· On Thursday at 9p BONES posted a 3.2/10 among Adults 18-49, up +6% in Total Viewers (10.5 vs. 9.9 Mil.). In fact, in head to head competition in the 9p hour, BONES beat CSI by +7% last week (3.2 vs. 3.0).

· Saturday staples COPS and AMERICA'S MOST WANTED led FOX to win the night on a total primetime basis among Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Teens and all key male and female demos.

At 9:30p TRAFFIC LIGHT posted a 1.5/4 in Adults 18-49. TRAFFIC LIGHT ranked #4 in the half hour among Adults 18-49 and #3 in Adults 18-34.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (Adults 18-49: 8.1/23, 24.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX's AMERICAN IDOL posted an 8.1/23 among Adults 18-49 and won the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, A18-34, Teens and all key demos.

Compared to last Wednesday, AMERICAN IDOL was up +4% in A18-49 (8.1 vs. 7.8) and up +7% in Total Viewers (24.4 vs. 22.8 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL retained 100% of the comparable telecast last year in A18-49 (vs. 8.1/22, Top 12 on 3/16/10) and was up +7% in Total Viewers (vs. 22.9 Mil.) and +4% in Teens (5.1/18 vs. 4.9/17).

FOX outperformed the combined 4-net competition for the night by +37% among Adults 18-49 (8.1 vs. 5.9) and +22% in Total Viewers (24.4 vs. 20.0 Mil) and outperformed its nearest competitor for the night by +238% in A18-49 (8.1 vs. 2.4 for CBS) and +160% in Total Viewers (24.4 vs. CBS' 9.4 Mil.)

FOX won the night in A18-49, Total Viewers, A18-34, Teens and all key demos and outperformed the next highest rated network for the night by +61% in A18-49 (5.0 vs. CBS' 3.1) and +28% in Total Viewers (16.4 vs. CBS' 12.8 Mil.)

At 8p the first AMERICAN IDOL Results show posted a 6.7/19 and retained 99% in A18-49 vs. the comparable telecast last year (6.7/19 vs. 6.8/20 on 3/17/10). AMERICAN IDOL was up +8% in Total Viewers (22.1vs. 20.5 Mil) and up +10% in Teens (4.6/17 vs. 4.2/15).

So far this season with Comparable Most Current ratings AMERICAN IDOL retained 95% of last year's same telecasts in A18-49 (8.6/23 vs. 9.1/24, through Top 12 Results, 3/17/10) and 100% in Total Viewers (24.7 vs. 24.6 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL Wed/Thu retained 99% of the same Tue/Wed week last year (3/16-3/17/10) in A18-49 (7.6 vs. 7.7) and gained +7% in Total Viewers (23.6 vs. 22.1 Mil.)

AMERICAN IDOL was the highest rated program of the night in key demos and bested next highest rated programs in A18-49, Big Bang Theory by +76% (6.7 vs. 3.8) and in Total Viewers, The Mentalist by +55% (22.1 vs. 14.3 Mil.)

In the 8p hour AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 4-net competition by +6% in A18-49 (6.7 vs. 6.3) and +13% in Total Viewers (22.1 vs. 19.6 Mil.)
