During the week of June 27, 2011, ABC (1.3/5) took second place to a season-finale boosted NBC with its 2-night closer for "The Voice" among Adults 18-49, beating Fox by 8% (1.2/4) and CBS by 30% (1.0/3). The Network finished No. 1 on 3 nights of the week (Monday, Thursday and Friday).

Rankings: ABC claimed 6 of the Top 12 TV shows of the week in Adults 18-49, more than any other network: "The Bachelorette" - No. 5, "EM: Weight Loss Edition" - No. 6, "Wipeout-Thurs" - No. 9, 101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" - No. 11, "Wipeout-Tues" and "Expedition Impossible" tied at No. 12. ABC aired the No. 1 newsmagazine for the 2nd week in a row in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54. In fact the Net delivered the week's Top 3 newsmagazines with key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54), with "20/20," "Primetime: What Would You Do?" and "Primetime Nightline: Beyond Belief," respectively.

· For the 4th time in the last 6 weeks, ABC grew its overall audience from the same week last year (4.63 million vs. 4.55 million on w/o 6/28/10).

Monday

Boosted by a growing "The Bachelorette" and "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition," ABC ran a dominant No. 1 on Monday night, leading its closest competitors by 2.0 million viewers (7.6 million vs. 5.6 million - NBC) and by 56% among Adults 18-49 (2.5/7 vs. 1.6/5 - Fox). The Net ranked No. 1 in all 6 half-hours of the evening in Total Viewers and the key young adult sales demo.

· Adding to its winning streaks on the evening, ABC registered as Monday's most-watched TV net for the 16th straight week and ranked No. 1 in Adults 18-49 for the 12th week running. In fact, ABC is now delivering its longest Adult 18-49 Monday winning streak since at least September 1991 - pre-dating the start of Nielsen's electronic database on September 1991.

· Drawing its biggest audience on the night this summer, ABC generated its most-watched summer Monday since the beginning of August last year - since 8/2/10.

"The Bachelorette" (8:00-10:01 p.m.)

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "The Bachelorette" won its time slot for the 6th week in a row, defeating its closest competition in the 2-hour time period by 3.0 million viewers (8.3 million vs. 5.3 million - NBC) and by 63% in Adults 18-49 (2.6/8 vs. 1.6/5 - Fox).

· Continuing to stand as Monday's No. 1 TV show in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, ABC's "The Bachelorette" registered as Monday's most-watched program overall for the 5th week running.

· Building week to week in viewers (+6% - 8.3 million vs. 7.8 million) and young adults (+13% - 2.6/8 vs. 2.3/7), "The Bachelorette" posted its strongest performance since its season premiere five weeks ago - since 5/23/11.

"Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" (10:01-11:00 p.m.)

Exhibiting impressive lead-in retention (85%) during the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" won its time period for the 2nd week in row among Adults 18-49, defeating NBC's original drama ("Law & Order: Los Angeles") by 57% (2.2/6 vs. 1.4/4). In addition, the ABC unscripted series finished No. 1 in its hour for the 5th consecutive week across all key Women demographics (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). The show once again gained viewers (6.1 million to 6.5 million) and young adults (2.2/6 to 2.3/6) from its first half-hour to its second half-hour, and built on its lead-in across the key Men demos (M18-34/M18-49/M25-54)

· Surging over the prior week by double-digit percentages in Total Viewers (+11% - 6.3 million vs. 5.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+10% - 2.2/6 vs. 2.0/6), "Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition" marked best-since-premiere numbers.

· "EM: Weight Loss Edition" produced substantial year-to-year improvement for ABC in the hour in viewers (+31%) and young adults (+29%) from the same night last year (4.8 million and 1.7/5 on 6/28/10) with an original "True Beauty."

Tuesday

Opposite NBC's original lineup, featuring "America's Got Talent" and the 2-hour Tuesday finale of "The Voice," ABC retained 100% of its week-ago performance in Adults 18-49 (1.6/5) and earned second place to NBC, leading Fox by 23% (1.3/4) and CBS by 45% (1.1/3).

"Wipeout" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

At 8 o'clock against NBC's "America's Got Talent," ABC's "Wipeout" ranked No. 2 in the hour in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6-tie) and outdrew Fox's "MasterChef" by 1.3 million viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.3 million).

· Building week to week by 6% in Total Viewers and by 6% in Adults 18-49 (5.3 million and 1.7/6 on 6/21/11), "Wipeout" generated ABC's top numbers in the hour this summer.

"101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Against the opening hour of the final performance show of NBC's "The Voice" from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" retained 100% of its week-earlier premiere in Adults 18-49 (1.9/5) and a strong 95% of its debut audience (5.3 million vs. 5.6 million). In addition, the new ABC show built on its lead-in in key Adults (A18-34/A18-49) and Teens 12-17.

· The broad-appealing "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" ranked No. 2 in the hour to "The Voice" with Adults 18-49 and Teens 12-17, and was also the second-highest rated broadcast show in the slot with Kids 2-11.

· "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show" boosted the 9 o'clock hour for ABC by a substantial 36% year to year in Total Viewers and by 36% in Adults 18-49, topping the year-ago night with original programming (3.9 million and 1.4/4 for "Downfall").

"Combat Hospital" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

Up against the final hour of "The Voice" finale at 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Combat Hospital" retained nearly all of its week-ago premiere in Adults 18-49 (92%) and finished No. 2 in the hour in Adults 18-49 (1.1/3-tie) and Adults 25-54 (1.4/4). In fact, the new ABC drama qualified as the No. 1 scripted TV show in the hour with key Adults for the 2nd week in a row.

· "Combat Hospital" improved the hour year to year for ABC by 35% in Total Viewers (4.6 million vs. 3.4 million), 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/3 vs. 1.0/3) and 8% in Adults 25-54 (1.4/4 vs. 1.3/4) over the year-ago night with original programming ("Primetime: Mind Games").

Wednesday

Opposite NBC's original lineup, featuring "The Voice: Results Show" season closer and "America's Got Talent" leading into the series debut of "Love in the Wild," ABC grew year to year for the 5th straight Wednesday this summer, building over the year-ago evening (6/30/10) by 6% in Total Viewers (3.8 million vs. 3.6 million) and by 33% in Adults 18-49 (1.2/4 vs. 0.9/3).

"The Middle-8:30PM" (8:30-9:00 p.m.)

In the 8:30 p.m. half-hour, ABC's encore "The Middle-8:30PM" improved on its year-ago replay by 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 1.0/4).

"Modern Family" (9:00-9:31 p.m.)

ABC's repeat "Modern Family" topped CBS' replay "CSI" (10:00 p.m.) by 7% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 1.4/4) to qualify as Wednesday's No. 1 scripted show on the major nets for the 5th week in a row. In addition, the ABC sophomore comedy was up over its year-ago rebroadcast by 15% (1.5/5 vs. 1.3/4).

"Happy Endings" (9:31-10:00 p.m.)

ABC's encore "Happy Endings" improved its time period on the same night last year by 11% in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 vs. 0.9/3).

"Primetime Nightline: Beyond Belief" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

In the 10 o'clock hour against the "Talent"-fueled debut of "Love in the Wild," ABC's premiere of "Primetime Nightline: Beyond Belief" achieved series highs for a regular telecast in Total Viewers and key Adults, growing over last summer's debut (8/19/10) by 11% in Total Viewers (4.2 million vs. 3.8 million), by 9% in Adults 18-49 (1.2/3 vs. 1.1/3) and by 7% in Adults 25-54 (1.6/4 vs. 1.5/4).

Thursday

Heading into the 4th of July holiday weekend, ABC's new Thursday lineup ranked No. 1 for the night for the 2nd week running among Adults 18-49 (1.7/6), beating Fox by 31% (1.3/4), CBS by 31% (1.3/4) and NBC by 113% (0.8/3). In fact, for the 2nd straight week ABC's programs won each of their respective time slots.

"Wipeout" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Wipeout" led its time period for the 2nd consecutive week in both Total Viewers (6.6 million) and Adults 18-49 (2.0/7), beating its unscripted competition on Fox ("So You Think You Can Dance") by 1.4 million viewers and by 25% in young adults (5.2 million and 1.6/6). In fact, the ABC unscripted series qualified as Thursday's No. 1 TV program in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd straight week and was also the top-rated broadcast program with Teens 12-17 and Kids 2-11.

"Expedition Impossible" (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

During the 9 o'clock hour, ABC's "Expedition Impossible" took first for the 2nd week in a row in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6-tie). Exhibiting impressive lead-in compatibility, the new unscripted series retained nearly all of its lead-in with Total Viewers (94%) and Adults 18-49 (90%), while holding on to 100% of its "Wipeout" lead-in with key Women (W18-34/W18-49).

"Rookie Blue" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Rookie Blue" finished first in Thursday's 10 o'clock hour in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd consecutive week. The ABC summer drama nearly tripled NBC's "Love Bites" in Total Viewers (5.4 million vs. 1.9 million), while doubling its NBC scripted competition in the key young adult demo (1.4/4 vs. 0.7/2).

· "Rookie Blue" improved the hour for ABC in viewers and young adults versus the year-ago night ("Boston Med" on 7/1/10 = 5.3 million and 1.3/4).

Friday

On the Friday of the extended 4th of July holiday weekend, ABC stood as the No. 1 network among Adults 18-49 (1.3/5-tie), beating NBC by 44% (0.9/4), CBS 63% (0.8/3) and Fox by 86% (0.7/3). Scoring its best Friday numbers of the summer, ABC drew its largest audience (4.3 million) and delivered its best young adult performance on the night in 6 weeks - since 5/20/11. ABC was up over the year-ago Friday by 23% in Total Viewers and by 44% among Adults 18-49 (3.5 million and 0.9/3 on 7/2/10).

"Shark Tank" (8:00-9:00 p.m.)

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's repeat "Shark Tank" was the No. 1 program in the hour in Adults 18-49 (1.1/5), topping CBS' replay "Flashpoint" by 57% (0.7/3), Fox's encore "Bones" by 83% (0.6/3) and NBC's original "Friday Night Lights" by 83% (0.6/3).

· "Shark Tank" generated its 2nd-largest ever repeat audience (3.9 million) and matched its highest- ever Adult 18-49 repeat number.

"Primetime: What Would You Do?" (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

ABC's "Primetime: What Would You Do?" stood as Friday's No. 1 show among the major nets in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5-tied with ABC's "20/20"). In addition, the ABC news program won the 9 o'clock hour in both Adults 18-49 (tie) and Adults 25-54 (1.6/5).

· "What Would You Do?" equaled its best Adult numbers (AD18-49/AD25-54) since mid-April - since 4/15/11.

"20/20" (10:00-11:00 p.m.)

During the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's "20/20" took first place in Adults 25-54 (1.8/5), leading NBC's repeat "Dateline" by 6% (1.7/5) and CBS' repeat "Blue Bloods" by 38% (1.3/4), and qualified as the No. 1 program on Friday in the key news demo. "20/20" also finished first versus its CBS and NBC competition in the hour in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5).

· "20/20" saw week-to-week increases of 23% in Total Viewers (4.9 million vs. 4.0 million) and scored its best results in the hour this summer in key Adults (AD18-49/AD25-54).

Sunday

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m.)

ABC's repeat "America's Funniest Home Videos" once again finished No. 1 during Sunday's 7 o'clock hour against its rivals in Adults 18-49 (0.8/4), defeating CBS' encore "60 Minutes" by 14% (0.7/3), Fox's replay animated comedies by 33% ("American Dad"/"Bob's Burgers" = 0.6/3) and NBC's encore "Dateline" by 33% (0.6/3).
