ABC's "Modern Family" Leads the New Season in DVR Gains
Based on Nielsen's just released DVR playback data for Mon-Wed of premiere week, ABC's back-to-back premiere episodes of Modern Family registered as the biggest gainers via time-shifted viewing in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, topping the increases for CBS' Two and a Half Men premiere.
· From the Live + Same Day Program Ratings to the Live + 3 Day Program Ratings, the premiere numbers for both episodes of Modern Family jumped by 3.6 million viewers, rising from 14.5 million viewers to 18.1 million viewers.
· Among Adults 18-49, the 9pm Modern Family premiere saw its rating surge from a 6.0 to a 7.7 (+1.7 points) and the second episode at 9:30pm jumped from a 6.2 to an 8.0 (+1.8 points).
