JAY LENO AND JIMMY FALLON LEAD THEIR HOURS IN TOTAL VIEWERS

SEASON TO DATE, JAY AND JIMMY EXTEND THEIR TOTAL-VIEWER MARGINS OF VICTORY VS. LAST YEAR

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - November 10, 2011 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" has averaged a 0.8 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall for the week of October 31-November 4. In total viewers, "Tonight" out-delivered CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for the week.

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also delivered a bigger audience than CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in total viewers. "Late Night" averaged a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall.

Through the first seven weeks of the season, "Tonight" has increased its total-viewer margin over "Late Show" to 10 percent (3.629 million vs. 3.310 million), up from the year-ago season-to-date advantage of 2 percent. Jimmy Fallon has established a total-viewer lead over "Late Late Show" this season of 13 percent (1.743 million vs. 1.548 million), after trailing by 5 percent one year ago.
