"Level Up" Debuts as Cartoon Network's #1 Live-Action Series Premiere In Network History

Ranks #1 in Time Period on All Television Among Kids 2-11 & All Boys; #1 Telecast of the Day Among Boys 9-14

Themed CartoonNetwork.com Game "Maldark: Conqueror of All Worlds" Scores as #1 Site Game Launch of 2011; Attracts 1.6 Million Monthly Players and almost 9 Million Game-Plays to Date

The series premiere of Level Up (Tuesday, Jan. 24, 8-8:30 p.m.), Cartoon Network's newest live-action comedy, beat all previous network records as the #1 live-action series premiere, charting double and triple-digit delivery gains across all targeted kids and boys demos vs. the same time period last year, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The new series, featuring CG-animation effects and characters, also scored as the #1 telecast in its time period on all television - broadcast and cable - among kids 2-11, boys 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 9-14. It also ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14 on all television. More than two million total viewers tuned into the half-hour series premiere.

Highlights of Level Up's series premiere performance, compared to the same 2011 time period, include the following:

· Kids 6-11 delivery (879,000) increased by 58%, and ratings (3.6) by 64%

· Kids 2-11 delivery (1,195,000) increased by 23%, and ratings (2.9) by 26%

· Kids 9-14 delivery (758,000) increased by 139%, and ratings (3.2) by 146%

· Boys 6-11 delivery (661,000) increased by 54%, and ratings (5.3) by 56%

· Boys 2-11 delivery (820,000) increased by 23%, and ratings (3.9) by 15%

· Boy 9-14 delivery (570,000) increased by 131%, and ratings (4.6) by 130%

· Total Viewers 2+ delivery (2,085,000) increased by 29%

Also worth noting, a Level Up-themed online game at CartoonNetwork.com launched concurrently with the movie pilot on Nov. 23, "Maldark: Conqueror of All Worlds," scored as Cartoon Network's #1 Game Launch of 2011-to-date, averaging 1.6 million monthly uniques and more than 8.9 million game plays to date.

Wyatt (Gaelan Connell), Dante (Connor del Rio) and Lyle (Jessie T. Usher) are top gamers in their favorite online game Conqueror of All Worlds. They've defeated trolls, squashed barbarians, annihilated ghouls and trashed everything else the game can throw at them. But it's a whole new experience battling their online foes IRL (in real life)! Now the boys, along with their classmate Angie (Aimee Carrero) must "level up" in order to deal with high school life while protecting their town. And all without a cheat code! Max Ross (Lonny Ross) is the multi-millionaire genius and eccentric game creator who helps the kids out on their real world quests.
