VERSUS FEBRUARY 2011, JAY STRETCHES HIS TOTAL-VIEWER ADVANTAGE OVER 'LATE SHOW' TO 15 PERCENT FROM 5 PERCENT

AT 12:35 A.M. ET, JIMMY INCREASES HIS TOTAL-VIEWER SWEEP MARGIN OVER 'LATE LATE SHOW' TO 17 PERCENT FROM LAST YEAR'S 2 PERCENT

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - March 8, 2012 - NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" is #1 for the February 2012 sweep versus CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in viewers 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" also topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" and "Kimmel" in 18-49 viewers, total viewers and other key categories.

For the sweep, "Tonight" and "Late Show" tied with 0.9 ratings each, while in viewers 18-49, "Tonight" out-delivered "Late Show" 1.156 million adults 18-49 to 1.141 million. In total viewers, "Tonight's" margin over "Late Show" was 15 percent (3.898 million vs. 3.402 million). At 12:35 a.m. ET for the sweep, Jimmy Fallon topped CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" in viewers 18-49 by a 15 percent margin (758,000 vs. 657,000) and in total viewers by 17 percent (1.868 million vs. 1.593 million).

"Tonight" stretched its margin of victory over "Late Show" in total viewers to 15 percent in February 2012 from 5 percent in February 2011. Jimmy Fallon increased his advantage over "Late Late Show" to 17 percent in February 2012 from 2 percent in February 2011.

The February sweep concluded during the week of February 27- March 2, during which "Tonight" delivered bigger audiences than "Late Show" and ABC's combination of "Nightline" and "Kimmel" in adults 18-49 and total viewers. For the week at 12:35 a.m. ET, Jimmy Fallon generated bigger audiences than "Late Late Show" in every key ratings category. Note the "Late Show" and "Kimmel" were in rebroadcast on Friday night last week.

"Tonight" has now delivered a bigger 18-49 audience than "Late Show" for 10 of the last 11 weeks and Jimmy Fallon has attracted a bigger 18-49 audience than "Late Late Show" for 14 weeks in a row.
