CBS Sports and Turner Sports' exclusive coverage of the 2012 Final Four(R) on Saturday, March 31, earned a 9.0 U.S. household rating, with a 17 share, making it the highest-rated Final Four since 2005.

TBS

Winning first quarter wasn't enough for TBS. The network plunged into Q2 with another big win as basic cable's #1 network in primetime among adults 18-34 and adults 18-49.

TBS didn't just win the demos, it crushed the competition, delivering 26% more adults 18-49 and a whopping 46% more adults 18-34 than its second-place rivals.

The Big Bang Theory shows no signs of slowing down as the show once again dominated the charts, claiming all 10 of basic cable's Top 10 sitcom telecasts in total audience delivery and nine of the Top 10 with adults 18-34 and adults 18-49. Five of The Big Bang Theory's episodes on TBS last week drew more than 3 million viewers.

TBS's Emmy(R)-nominated late-night series CONAN continued its growing trend as it averaged 1.1 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery last week, up 8% over the prior week of premieres. The show also averaged 381,000 adults 18-34 (+4%) and 680,000 adults 18-49 (+2%). With one more week of time-shifted viewing left to count for March, CONAN is on track to score its sixth consecutive month of audience growth.

TBS enjoyed strong movie performances last week, delivering four of basic cable's Top 5 movie telecasts with adults 18-34. TBS's Sunday primetime telecast of 2 Fast 2 Furious topped the charts in first place, followed by the Saturday presentation of American Pie 2.

Adult Swim

Across the first week of April, Adult Swim ranked as basic cable's #1 network for Total Day Delivery of young adult and young men demos - adults 18-34, 18-49 & 18-24, as well as men 18-34, 18-49 & 18-24. Versus the same time period last year, the late-night network scored delivery gains among adults 18-34 (523,000/ up 7%), adults 18-24 (301,000/ up 20%), men 18-34 (307,000/ up 1%) and men 18-24 (179,000/ up 14%).

Sunday night's presentation of the Adult Swim original series Loiter Squad (11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all adults (18-34, 18-49, 18-24) and men 18-34.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Loiter Squad, The Boondocks and American Dad - accounted for 21 of the top 50 telecasts for the week on basic cable among adults 18-34 (more than any other network), and more than half (26) of the top 50 among men 18-34, also more than any other network.

Cartoon Network

Carrying its 1Q'12 winning performance into April, Cartoon Network once again claimed television's #1 network on all TV for the week among boys (2-11, 6-11, 9-14) in Early Evening Prime (7-9 p.m.), charting solid delivery growth across all kids demos in both Prime and Total Day ranging between 2% and 19%.
