NEW YORK - May 8, 2012 - The "godmother" of all Bad Girls, Tanisha Thomas, proves she's still the fan favorite as Oxygen's "Tanisha Gets Married" marks the network's best ever freshman docu-series premiere with over one million total viewers (1,073,000). While meeting with a wedding planner Tanisha discovers their high cost and unabashedly proclaims, "I am in the wrong business, you guys are pimps!" After a venue owner agrees to her request to serve mac & cheese at her wedding, Tanisha jumps with excitement saying, "Any friend of macaroni and cheese is a friend of mine!" The emotion and the comedy continue when "Tanisha Gets Married" moves into its regular timeslot, Mondays at 10 PM ET/PT, beginning May 14th.

"Tanisha Gets Married" is produced by 495 Productions with SallyAnn Salsano and Joel Zimmer.
