Up by Double Digits Week to Week, "Katie" Equals its Best-Ever Women 25-54 Rating And Scores its Strongest Numbers Since its Debut in Total Viewers and Households

Season to Date Out of 17 Talk Shows in the Market, Newcomer "Katie" Stands Among the Top-Ranked Syndicated Talkers Across Key Measures

"Katie" National Ratings - Week 5

Based on National ratings for the week of October 8, 2012, "Katie" surged by double-digit percentages over the prior week to finish No. 1 among all freshman and sophomore syndicated talk shows for the 5th week in a row among Households (1.9 rating), Total Viewers (2.494 million) and Women 25-54 (1.1 rating). During the week, "Katie" defeated freshman "Steve Harvey" (1.3 HH rating, 1.806 million viewers and 1.0 W25-54 rating), "Jeff Probst" (0.7 HH rating, 944,000 viewers and 0.4 W25-54 rating), "Ricki Lake" (0.7 HH rating, 841,000 viewers and 0.5 W25-54 rating) and "Trisha" (0.5 HH rating, 659,000 viewers and 0.4 W25-54 rating), while continuing to pace well ahead of sophomore "Anderson Live" (1.1 HH rating, 1.452 million viewers and 0.7 W25-54 rating).

· "Katie" posted strong week-to-week gains in Total Viewers (+10%), Households (+12%) and Women 25-54 (+10%). In fact, "Katie" equaled its highest-ever Women 25-54 rating (matching its debut week) and earned best-since-debut results with Total Viewers and Households - since w/o 9/10/12.

· Season to date, out of 17 total shows in the market, newcomer "Katie" stands among the top-ranked syndicated talkers in Homes (No. 6), Total Viewers (No. 6) and Women 25-54 (No. 6).

"Katie" is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels and Michael Bass and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
