[via press release from NBC]

Friday Primetime Results:

NBC ranked #1 Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, led by the second-highest Friday "Grimm" ever, a two-year non-sports slot high from "Mockingbird Lane" and a season high for "Dateline."

* At 8 p.m. ET, "Mockingbird Lane" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall) scared up NBC's best non-sports 18-49 rating in the slot since October 8, 2010 ("Dateline," 1.6). In total viewers, it was an NBC non-sports high in the slot since March 23 ("Who Do You Think You Are," 5.6 million). "Mockingbird Lane" ranked #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and most other key demos and tied for #1 among those networks in women 25-54. From its first half-hour to its second, "Mockingbird Lane" grew by 7 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5).

* At 9 p.m. ET, "Grimm" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall) captured the show's second-highest Friday rating ever, behind only its October 28, 2011 series debut. In total viewers (6.0 million), it's the biggest audience for "Grimm" on any night of the week since the second telecast of the series on November 4, 2011.

* "Grimm" locked up the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, marking the fifth straight week "Grimm" has been Friday's top scripted show on those networks. In the time period, "Grimm" was #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in every key demographic. "Grimm" won the hour by a 36 percent margin in adults 18-49 over the 1.4 ratings of CBS's "CSI: NY" and ABC's "All Access Nashville with Katie Couric."

* "Grimm" increased its rating from its first half-hour to its second in every key ratings measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

* Keep in mind that last season, "Grimm" originals added an average 69 percent to these next-day "live plus same day" 18-49 ratings when Nielsen issued "live plus seven day" results.

* At 10 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall) reported its highest in-season 18-49 rating since February 10 to finish #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in that key demo. "Dateline" grew week to week in 18-49 rating by 15 percent (to a 1.5 from a 1.3).

* NBC won the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and most other key demos. NBC's average 1.6 in 18-49 for the night is the network's highest Friday rating with non-sports programming since September 23, 2011. It's NBC's first outright Friday win among those networks with non-sports programming since December 16, 2011

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.0/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 3.5/8; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.
