TBS Ranks as Basic Cable's #1 Entertainment Network in Primetime Among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49
Turner spins the numbers for the week of November 5-11.

TBS ranked as basic cable's #1 entertainment network in primetime among adults 18-34 and adults 18-49. Adult Swim topped the charts as basic cable's #1 network in total day among adults 18-24, adults 18-34 and men 18-24. It was also the #1 entertainment network in total day among adults 18-49. And Cartoon Network ranked as the top network in early prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 2-11, boys 6-11 and boys 9-14.

TBS

Last week, TBS ranked basic cable's #1 entertainment network in primetime delivery of key adult demos, with 517,000 adults 18-34 and 983,000 adults 18-49.

The new TBS original comedy series Wedding Band delivered 1,845,000 viewers in its first performance this past Saturday night at 10 p.m. (ET/PT). The comedy ranked as cable's #1 entertainment program in the timeslot with adults 18-34 (613,000) and adults 18-49 (1,068,000).

The Big Bang Theory continued to rank as cable's #1 acquired series, topping the weekly charts with total viewers, adults 18-34 and adults 18-49.

TBS's CONAN averaged 861,000 viewers in Live + Same Day delivery last week, with 268,000 adults 18-34 and 561,000 adults 18-49. Meanwhile, CONAN drew 925,000 viewers; 319,000 adults 18-34; and 625,000 adults 18-49 in Live + 7 delivery for the week of Oct. 22-25. For the quarter-to-date, CONAN is up 7% among total viewers and +2% among adults 18-49, compared to Q4 2011.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim's Total Day performance ranked #1 among adults 18-24 & 18-34, as well as men 18-24 on basic cable this week. Adult Swim also ranked among the top 5 basic cable networks in Prime Time (Broadcast definition) delivery of adults 18-34. Compared to the same week in 2011, Prime Time delivery grew across all targeted young adult demos, ranging between 2% and 20%.

Among the network's original programming, a premiere episode of Childrens Hospital (Thursday, 12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among men 18-24. Additionally, the Sunday premieres of Robot Chicken (12 a.m.) and Superjail (12:15 a.m.) each increased average delivery across adults & men 18-34 & 18-49 vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 10% and 34%.

Saturday night's presentation of The Cleveland Show (10:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24, and increased average delivery of adults & men 18-34 & 18-49 between 9% and 35% vs. the same time period in 2011.

Cartoon Network

Ranking as the week's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, Cartoon Network also earned across-the-board delivery growth among kids vs. the same time period last year - average kids 2-11 grew by 7%, kids 6-11 also by 7% and kids 9-14 by 10%. In Total Day, Cartoon Network ranked #1 among boys 9-14, while average delivery also grew among kids 6-11 (4%) and kids 9-14 (12%), compared to last year's time period. Additionally, all weekly kids delivery averages grew by double-digits compared to the prior four weeks, ranging between 11% and 23%.

The Wednesday night presentation of Ninjago (7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 6-11 (all TV) and boys 9-14 (basic cable), as well as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 2-11. The premiere episode earned dramatic double-digit delivery gains across all kids and boys demos, with growth ranging between 60% and 95%. The entire Wednesday night line-up performed exceptionally well, with the special Lego: Empire Strikes Out (7 p.m.) and new series Dragons: Riders of Berk (8 p.m.) both charting #1 in their respective time periods among all boy demos.

Among Cartoon Network's original programming, Tuesday night's presentation of The Amazing World of Gumball (7 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, and #1 in its time period among kids 9-14 and all boys, earning double-digit delivery gains across the board ranging between 18% and 41%. Similarly, The Looney Tunes Show (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys. Thursday night's MAD (8 p.m.) as ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Saturday morning's action-adventure animated line-up (7-11 a.m.) scored delivery gains vs. last year across all kids and boys 2-11, ranging between 2% and 10%. Among programming highlights, Star Wars: The Clone Wars (9:30 a.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, while earning double and triple-digit delivery growth across all kids and boys demos vs. the 2011 time period, ranging between 71% and 117%. Original series Ben 10: Omniverse (9 a.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among boys 9-14, posting delivery gains across all boys: boys 2-11 grew by 7%, boys 6-11 by 8% and boys 9-14 by 5%.

TNT

Through five game telecasts, the NBA on TNT is averaging a 2.0 U.S. household rating and more than 3 million total viewers, an increase of +18% in U.S. household rating (vs. 1.7) and a +22% increase among total viewers (vs. 2.5 million) compared to the network's NBA regular-season games last season.

truTV

More than 1.4 million viewers parked themselves in front of last week's episode of South Beach Tow (Wednesday at 9 p.m.) as the show ranked among basic cable's Top 5 programs in the timeslot with key adult and male demos. South Beach Tow also scored double-digit growth across the board compared to the same time period last year, while its median age dropped 7 years to 39.

Operation Repo (Wednesday at 9:30 p.m.) brought in more than 1.2 million viewers, with double-digit growth among adults 18-34, adults 18-49 and men 18-49.

truTV's acquired hit Wipeout (Saturday and Sunday 8-10pm) delivered solid time-period growth among key adult demos. In addition, the Saturday 9 p.m. episode scored a median age of 34, 10 years younger than the same timeslot a year ago, while the Sunday episodes shaved 19 years off the timeslot with a median age of only 31.

NBA TV

Through the first two weeks of the season, NBA TV's nine game telecasts are averaging 340,000 total viewers, an increase of +48% compared to the same period in 2010-11 (10 games). Additionally, NBA TV's first three installments of The Association: Brooklyn Nets are outpacing last year's airings by +41% among total viewers and household impressions.
