On Wednesday, January 9, 2013, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" surged over its Tuesday time slot debut by 22% in Adults 18-49 (1.083 million vs. 887,000). In addition, "JKL" retained nearly all of its overall audience from the prior day (92% - 2.859 million vs. 3.097 million).

· With just 6,000 young adult viewers separating the two programs, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" essentially tied NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" as Wednesday's No. 1 late-night talk show in Adults 18-49 (1.083 million vs. 1.089 million). The two programs tied in rating (0.86).

· For the 2nd night in a row, "JKL" beat CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" among Adults 18-49 (+9% - 1.083 million vs. 998,000).

· "JKL" grew over its 2012-13 season averages in its previous 12:00 a.m. time slot by 47% in Total Viewers (2.859 million vs. 1.942 million) and by 62% in Adults 18-49 (1.083 million vs. 667,000).

· In New York, "JKL" ranked No. 1 in its 11:35 p.m. time slot in Adults 18-49 for the 2nd day in a row (1.47 rating), beating both NBC's "The Tonight Show" (0.61) and CBS' "The Late Show" (0.60) combined. In addition, "JKL" catapulted day to day in the market by 29% among young adults (1.47 vs. 1.14.)
