"48 HOURS: HONOR AND DISHONOR" IS SATURDAY'S #1 10:00 PM PROGRAM IN VIEWERS, ADULTS 25-54, ADULTS 18-49 AND HOUSEHOLDS
CBS News' 48 HOURS: "Honor and Dishonor" (10:00-11:00 PM) was first in viewers, adults 25-55, adults 18-49, and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Feb. 16. 48 HOURS posted a 4.0/07 with 5.81m viewers, a 1.4/04 in adults 25-54 and a 0.9/03 with adults 18-49. Compared to the same night last year, 48 HOURS was up +5% in households.
Saturday's broadcast featured Richard Schlesinger and the 48 HOURS team's rare look inside the Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) judicial system as it handled a double murder case against a decorated soldier at Fort Campbell, Ky. Sgt. Brent Burke had been tried four times in civilian courts for the murders and each time the case ended in a mistrial. Then the Army's JAG stepped in and allowed 48 HOURS access to both prosecutors and the defense as Burke's case played out.
