truTV's hit series Impractical Jokers closed out the first half of its second season last night with more than 1.9 million viewers, a +28% increase over the show's season 1 finale. It also garnered 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+32% vs. season 1 finale) and 626,000 men 18-49 (+25%). Following Impractical Jokers, truTV launched its newest series, Upload with Shaquille O'Neal, which turned in a solid performance with 1.3 million viewers, 872,000 adults 18-49 and 455,000 men 18-49.

About truTV's Impractical Jokers

truTV's Impractical Jokers premiered to critical acclaim in December 2011 and quickly became one of the network's biggest hits, especially among young adults. The series follows four friends - Joe, Sal, Murr and Q - as they dare one another to complete over-the-top challenges in public. Their antics are captured on hidden camera, complete with the unsuspecting public's amused, confused, or flabbergasted reactions. After each new dare, the guys are graded to determine who succeeded under pressure and who collapsed in defeat. The prankster with the lowest score at the end of that week's episode must then face a mortifying challenge with truly humiliating consequences.

In conjunction with the season 2 debut of Impractical Jokers, truTV launched a brand new mobile app for the iOS and Android platforms. With the free truTV Impractical Jokers app, fans can now take their favorite pranksters with them wherever they go. The app's many features include extensive video clips, social media connections, a special doodle pad and, in a digital first, the chance to talk directly with the guys themselves through an exclusive hotline.

Impractical Jokers is produced for truTV by NorthSouth Productions (Say Yes to the Dress, Double Divas), with Charlie DeBevoise and Mark Hickman serving as executive producers.

About truTV's Upload with Shaquille O'Neal

Shaquille O'Neal puts his own hilarious spin on online videos in truTV's brand new series Upload with Shaquille O'Neal, airing Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Each week on the show, Shaq and his comic friends - co-hosts Gary Owen (Think Like a Man) and Godfrey (The Mr. Men Show) - scour the internet looking for the funniest online videos and comment on them. They also make their own viral videos, pull pranks and create parodies of current pop culture stories. To help the trio in their comic antics, Shaq and his friends will be joined by special guest comedians.

truTV has ordered 10 episodes for the first season of Upload with Shaquille O'Neal. The series is executive-produced by FishBowl Worldwide Media's Vin Di Bona, Bruce Gersh, Mike Gibbons, Greg Heller, creative team leader Susan Levison and Beth Greenwald, along with Shaq Entertainment's Shaquille O'Neal, Perry Rogers, Colin Smeeton and Mike Parris.
