"THE FOLLOWING" RANKS AS HIGHEST-RATED DRAMA ON MONDAY NIGHT

"AMERICAN IDOL" WINS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHTS AMONG DEMOS

FOX RANKS NO. 2 FOR WEEK AMONG ADULTS 18-49, ADULTS 18-34 AND TEENS

FOX's week was propelled by strong performances from THE FOLLOWING, BONES and AMERICAN IDOL which led the network to rank No. 2 for the week among all key demos.

On Monday, THE FOLLOWING was the highest-rated drama of the night among Adults 18-49 and posted its second highest rating to date among Adults 18-34. AMERICAN IDOL was the highest-rated program of the night on Wednesday among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

FOX ranked No. 2 for the week among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

For the week, FOX had:

· 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 7 tie) and THE FOLLOWING (No. 15 tie).

· 5 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL- WED (No. 5), AMERICAN IDOL- THU (No. 7 tie), NEW GIRL (No. 11 tie), THE FOLLOWING (No. 13) and BONES (No. 19).

BONES posted a 2.2/6 in Adults 18-49 and grew by +18% among Adults 18-34.

At 9p, THE FOLLOWING (2.9/7) grew +21% among Adults 18-49 and +14% among Adults 18-34. THE FOLLOWING posted its second highest rating to date among Adults 18-34.

NEW GIRL at 9p posted a 2.2/6 in Adults 18-49. THE MINDY PROJECT delivered a 1.6/4 in Adults 18-49 at 9:30p.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (A18 49: 4.1/11, 14.4 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key demos. FOX outperformed the No. 2 networks of the night by +64% in Adults 18-49 (4.1/11 vs. 2.5/7 for CBS) and +113% in Adults 18-34 (3.2/11 vs. 1.5/5 for ABC). Through its first six weeks, AMERICAN IDOL has given FOX the six highest-rated Wednesdays of the 12/13 season on any network.

The first girls 'Sudden Death' round on AMERICAN IDOL posted a 4.1/11 in Adults 18-49 and gained +7% in Total Viewers week-to-week (14.4 vs. 13.5 Mil). AMERICAN IDOL was also up +14% in Teens from the previous week (3.2/11 vs. 2.8/11). AMERICAN IDOL was the highest-rated program of the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens and most key demos.

THURSDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (A18 49: 3.9/11, 13.7 Mil Total Viewers)

FOX won the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and key female demos and outperformed the No. 2 network of the night, CBS by +18% in Adults 18-49 (3.9/11 vs. 3.3/9) and +38% in Adults 18-34 (2.9/9 vs. 2.1/7). FOX tied for the second highest rated Thursday night on any network with entertainment programming this season among Adults 18-49.

AMERICAN IDOL posted a 3.9/11 in Adults 18-49, up +5% from the previous week's one-hour telecast (3.7/12). American Idol's 20-hour average (Most Current ratings) year to year is up +2% in Adults 18-34 (4.5/14 vs. 4.4/14).
