FOX Ranks No. 2 Among Adults 18-34 and No. 3 Among Adults 18-49 for the Week
FOX spins the numbers for the week of March 25-31.

NATIONAL NIELSEN RATINGS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 25 - 31, 2013

FOX's week was highlighted by strong performances from AMERICAN IDOL, THE FOLLOWING, HELL'S KITCHEN, NEW GIRL and THE MINDY PROJECT. AMERICAN IDOL won its eleventh consecutive Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. On Monday, freshman series THE FOLLOWING grew +4% in its second half-hour despite increased competition in the hour. FOX's Tuesday comedy and reality line-up led the network to rank No. 1 for the night among Adults 18-34 for the night. In fact, NEW GIRL was the No. 1 comedy among Adults 18-49 on Tuesday. For the week, FOX ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-34 and No. 3 (tied) among Adults 18-49.

For the week, FOX had:

· 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), AMERICAN IDOL- Thu (No. 9) and THE FOLLOWING (No. 20).

· 7 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), NEW GIRL (No. 6), AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 11), THE FOLLOWING (No. 16), THE MINDY PROJECT (No. 18), HELL'S KITCHEN (No. 20 tie) and BONES (No. 20 tie).

· 5 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 3), AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 5), AMERICAN DAD Encore (No. 8), FAMILY GUY Encore (No. 12 tie) and THE SIMPSONS Encore (No. 12 tie).

· 2 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 7) and AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 9).

HELL'S KITCHEN (2.0/6) matched its rating from the previous week, holding steady despite going head to head with the spring premiere of The Voice-Tuesday.

NEW GIRL (2.2/6) was the highest-rated comedy of the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

THE MINDY PROJECT (1.5/4) was the highest-rated program in its time period among Adults 18-34.

WEDNESDAY

8:00-10:00 AMERICAN IDOL: (A18 49: 3.2/9, 12.3 Mil Total Viewers)

Marking its eleventh straight Wednesday win, FOX led the night in Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34, Teens, and all key demos. FOX outperformed the No. 2 network of the night, ABC by +68% in Adults 18-49 (3.2/9 vs. 1.9/6), +79% in Adults 18-34 (2.5/8 vs. 1.4/5), and CBS by +68% in Total Viewers (12.3 Mil. vs. 7.3 Mil.).

AMERICAN IDOL (3.2/9) tied as the No. 1 program of the night in Adults 18-49 (with ABC's Modern Family), also ranking No. 1 among Adults 18-34, Total Viewers, Adults 25-54, and all key female demos.
