"Parks and Recreation" Ranks #1 Among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in Men 18-34
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, April 25.

Thursday Results:

* At 8 p.m. ET, "Community" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period versus CBS's "Big Bang Theory," Fox's "American Idol" and ABC's "Wife Swap." Note that "Community" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, with the April 4 episode growing by 47 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (0.96) to "live plus seven day" results (1.41).

* From 8:30-9 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "The Office" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers overall.

* From 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall) finished within 0.2 of a point of its prior original in 18-49 (1.9 on April 11), despite last week's "Office" preemption and the return of original competition from ABC and CBS last night (with both of those nets airing encores on April 11). In the time period, "The Office" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34 (with 1.4 rating) and tied for #2 in adults 18-34 (1.7). Note that "The Office" is a highly time-shifted series, with its April 4 telecast growing by 63 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.76) to "live plus seven day" results (2.86).

* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, "Parks and Recreation" delivered a 1.3/4 in 18-49 and 2.5 million viewers overall. In the time period, "Parks and Recreation" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in men 18-34 (with 1.2 rating). Note that "Parks" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, with its April 4 telecast growing by 45 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.50) to "live plus seven day" results (2.17).

* At 10:01 p.m. ET, "Hannibal" averaged a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall. "Hannibal" maintained its 18-49 rating from half-hour to half-hour (1.0 vs. 1.0) and grew by 5 percent in total viewers (to 2.5 million from 2.3 million), while dramas on ABC and CBS declined half-hour to half-hour in both categories. "Hannibal" is a highly time-shifted series, with its April 4 debut growing by 67 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.59) to "live plus seven day" results (2.66).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

* In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
