TNT's Live Third Round Coverage of the 2013 PGA Championship Up 78% vs. 2012, with PGA.com Live Streaming Up 88%

Through Third Round, TNT Delivers Highest-Rated Championship Since 2009

TNT's exclusive live third round coverage of the 2013 PGA Championship from the Oak Hill Country Club East Course in Rochester, N.Y., averaged a 1.6 rating, up 78% compared with a 0.9 rating in 2012. The 1.6 rating, based on Nielsen metered markets, is the network's highest rating for the Championships' third round since 2010 (1.7 rating).

The telecast peaked with a 1.9 rating from 1:30-1:45 p.m. and the highest-rated metered markets for the complete three-hour window were Columbus (2.9), West Palm Beach (2.9), Greenville, S.C. (2.8), Austin (2.7) and Charlotte (2.7).

Through the third round, TNT's live telecasts have averaged a 1.4 rating, up 56% compared with the first three rounds of the tournament last year (0.9 rating). The 1.4 rating marks the highest rating for the first three days of the PGA Championship since 2009 (1.5 rating).

PGA.com, managed by Turner Sports, and its Sports Emmy Award-winning PGA Championship LIVE also continues to garner significant audience and content consumption increases across digital platforms. Live streaming across platforms (broadband and mobile) is up 88% through the first three rounds of the Championship and live streaming hours across platforms are up 94% compared to the first three days in 2012.
