"Katie" Is Up Week to Week and Year to Year, Equaling Its Highest-Rated Week in 8 Months

Hitting a Season High on Tuesday, "Katie" Marks its Top-Rated Telecast Since Early April

Based on National Household ratings for the week of September 23, 2013, "Katie" was up week to week and grew over the same week last year. In addition, "Katie" increased its lead over its sophomore and freshman syndicated talk show competitors. During the week, "Katie" (1.9 rating) topped "Steve Harvey" by 19% (1.6 rating), "Queen Latifah" by 58% (1.2 rating), "Bethenny" by 138% (0.8 rating), "Arsenio Hall" by 138% (0.8 rating) and "The Test" by 280% (0.5 rating).

· Growing week to week (+6% - 1.9 rating vs. 1.8 rating), "Katie" equaled its highest-rated week in 8 months - since w/o 1/28/13. Hitting a season-high on Tuesday (2.1 rating on 9/24/13), "Katie" delivered its best rating for any telecast since the beginning of April - since 4/8/13.

· "Katie" was up over the same week last year by 6% (1.9 rating vs. 1.8 rating on w/o 9/24/12).

"Katie" is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Rachel Miskowiec and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
