NBC Scores Its Highest Thursday Average of the Season
NBC spins the numbers for Thursday, November 7.

Thursday Results (NBC carried Redskins-Vikings NFL football in the Washington, D.C. market):

NBC scored its highest Thursday average of the season (1.9), with:

· "Sean Saves the World" (1.7/5) currently setting a series high.

· "Michael J. Fox" (1.3/3) currently earning a five-week high (best since Oct. 3).

· "Parenthood" (1.5/4) currently hitting a five-week high (best since Oct. 3).

Keying these gains is a Thursday live telecast of "The Voice" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall from 8-9:01 p.m.), which is currently earning:

· NBC's highest non-sports 18-49 rating in the time period in the past year.

· NBC's biggest non-sports total-viewer results in the hour since the night of the "ER" finale.

· From 8-9:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 10.2 million viewers overall) is currently reporting NBC's highest non-sports rating in the time period in the past year, since another Thursday "Voice" earned a 3.0 in the slot on Nov. 8, 2012. Last night's "Voice" also delivered the net's top total-viewer result in the hour, excluding sports, since April 2, 2009, the night of the "ER" series finale, when an "ER" retrospective ran in the time period. Versus its year-ago telecast in this same time period, last night's "Voice" was up in total viewers by 16% (10.233 million vs. 8.833 million), pending updates.

· From its first half-hour to its second, "The Voice" grew in all key ratings measures, including gains of 16% in adults 18-49 (to a 2.9 rating from a 2.5), 16% in women 18-49 (3.6 vs. 3.1) and 22% in women 18-34 (2.8 vs. 2.3). "The Voice" moved into first place among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox for its second half-hour from 8:30-9 p.m. ET in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 plus total viewers, pending updates.

· "Sean Saves the World" (1,7/5 in 18-49, 5.583 million viewers overall from 9:01-9:30 p.m. ET) is currently setting season highs in 18-49 and total viewers. Versus its week-ago results, "Sean" is currently up 55% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.7 from a 1.1) and up 50% in total viewers (5.583 million vs. 3.724 million), pending updates. L+3: Last week's "Sean Saves the World" added 18% or 0.24 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.33 from a 1.09) and 15% or 644,000 persons in total viewers (4.368 million vs. 3.724 million). L+7: The Oct. 17 telecast of "Sean Saves the World" added 27% or 0.30 rating points to its L+SD 18-49 rating (1.42 vs. 1.12) and in total viewers, added 22% or 727,000 persons (4.086 million vs. 3.359 million)..

· "The Michael J. Fox Show" (1.3/3 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers at 9:30) is currently delivering five-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers, with its best results since Oct. 3. Versus week-ago results, "Michael J. Fox" is currently up 18% in 18-49 rating (with a 1.3 rating vs. a 1.1) and up 27% in total viewers (4.243 million vs. 3.336 million), pending updates. L+3: Last week's "Michael J. Fox Show" added 33% or 0.35 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 1.40 from a 1.05) and 26% or 853,000 persons in total viewers (4.189 vs. 3.336 million). L+7: The Oct. 17 episode of "The Michael J. Fox" added 39% or 0.49 rating points to its L+SD 18-49 rating (1.74 vs. 1.25) and in total viewers, added 36% or 1.293 million persons (4.855 million vs. 3.562 million).

· "Parenthood" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m.) is currently generating a five-week high in 18-49 rating, its best result since Oct. 3, and a six-week high in total viewers, best since its season premiere on Sept. 26. Versus week-ago results, "Parenthood" is currently up 25% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.5 from a 1.2) and up 23% in total viewers (4.530 million vs. 3.673 million). Despite the 10 p.m. hour, last night's "Parenthood" maintained or increased its rating in every key demographic from its first half-hour to its second.

· L+3: Last week's "Parenthood" added 79% or 0.95 of a rating point to its next-day L+SD 18-49 rating (to a 2.16 from a 1.21) and 58% or 2.116 million persons in total viewers (5.789 million vs. 3.673 million). The 2.16 rating in 18-49 is a three-week high for "Parenthood" in L+3. L+7: The Oct. 17 telecast of "Parenthood" added 76% or 1.00 rating points to its L+SD 18-49 rating (2.32 vs. 1.32) and in total viewers, added 59% or 2.356 million persons (6.379 million vs. 4.023 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.3/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.4/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/5.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.6/4 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.3/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
