TBS Ranks as Basic Cable's #1 Entertainment Network for the Month Among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 in Primetime
Turner spins the numbers for the week of November 18-24 plus the month to date.

TBS continued its strong performance in November, ranking as basic cable's #1 entertainment network for the month among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 in primetime. TBS also ranked as the #1 entertainment network with key demos for last week.

TBS scored solid primetime growth in November, with a +4% gain among total viewers compared to November 2012. In the demos, TBS's growth clocked in at +2% among adults 18-49 and +7% among adults 18-34.

The Big Bang Theory on TBS continued its reign as basic cable's #1 off-net sitcom in November, topping the charts in delivery of total viewers , adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

On the original programming front, TBS's new sitcom Ground Floor averaged 1.6 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery for Thursday night's episode, including 889,000 adults 18-49 and 453,000 adults 18-34. And Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host brought in 1.2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery for Tuesday's episode and scored big growth in the demos, drawing 732,000 adults 18-49 (+21% vs. the prior week) and 429,000 adults 18-34 (+42% vs. the prior week).

Adult Swim

Adult Swim beat all other basic cable networks for the sixth straight month, ranking #1 in November for average Total Day Delivery of adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34.

Compared to November 2012, Total Day Delivery grew by double digits across the board - adults 18-24 by 18%, adults 18-34 by 24%, adults 18-49 by 19%, men 18-24 by 10%, men 18-34 by 21% and men 18-49 by 19%.

On Thursday nights in November, new season episode premieres of Eagleheart (12 a.m.), The Eric Andre Show(12:30 a.m.) and Hot Package (12:45 a.m.) increased all targeted adults and young male demos vs. the same time period last year, ranging between 4% and 39%.

On Sunday nights in November, new episode premieres of China, IL (11:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in the time period among adults 18-24.

All Saturday night, TOONAMI block (Animé action-adventure programming) premieres grew average delivery of targeted adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-49 by mostly double-digits vs. last year, ranging between 2% and 54%.

Overall throughout November 2013, Adult Swim programming accounted for 11 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the month among adults 18-34, and 13 of the top 50 telecast among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

Cartoon Network

Across November 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Monday and Tuesday nights. Cartoon Network also ranked #1 among boys 9-14 on Wednesday nights.

Cartoon Network's newest original animated series Steven Universe (Mondays in November, 8 p.m.) scored as the #1 program of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14, and #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. The Emmy-winning Regular Show (Mondays, 7:30 p.m.) was #1 in its time period among boys 6-11 & 9-14.

Throughout November on Tuesday nights, new episode premieres of Total Drama All-Stars (7 p.m.) ranked as the #1 program of the day among boys 6-11, and #1 in its time period with boys 9-14. Similarly, original animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) won its timeslot among boys 6-11, while growing delivery of all kids and boys demos ranging between 6% and 13% vs. the same time period last year. Original animated series Uncle Grandpa (8 p.m.) also ranked #1 in its new timeslot among boys 2-11 & 6-11, earning delivery gains across all kids and boy demos vs. last year, ranging between 5% and 10%.

On Wednesday nights in November, original animated series Teen Titans Go! (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Saturday morning presentations of Pokémon B&W: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 9-14.

TNT

TNT's total day deliveries were up in November, as the network garnered a +5% increase among total viewers and a +4% boost with adults 18-49, compared November 2012. Much of TNT's total day growth came among young adults, who drove a +14% increase in the adults 18-34 demo.

Through the first month of the 2013-14 NBA season (10 telecasts), the NBA on TNT is averaging 2.6 million total viewers, an increase of +3% over the comparable live coverage to-date last year. Over all, TNT's NBA coverage has reached more than 37.1 million total viewers*, an increase of +23% compared the same period last year (30.1 million).

truTV

truTV's Hardcore Pawn (Tuesdays at 9 & 9:30 p.m.) had a great November marked by strong growth over the same month last year. The hit series averaged 2 million viewers (+44%), including 870,000 adults 18-49 (+43%) and 454,000 men 18-49 (+39%).

truTV's hilarious hit Impractical Jokers (Thursdays at 10 p.m.) averaged 1.7 million viewers in November and ranked as one of ad-supported cable's Top 5 programs in its timeslot with adults 18-49 (1,035,000). With triple-digit increases over the same time period last year, Impractical Jokers paved the way for truTV to rank among cable's Top 10 entertainment networks on Thursdays for the month.
