During 2013, ABC Family's social media powerhouse, "Pretty Little Liars," ranked as the year's #1 most-tweeted TV series for the 2nd-consecutive year, amassing 16.8 million total tweets by 2.5 million unique users, at an average 6.7 Tweets per user, demonstrating how engaged the series' viewers are. Further, the series nearly doubled its 2012 Tweet total, increasing by 93% (vs. 8.7 million).

Powered by "Pretty Little Liars," ABC Family emerged as the #1 most-tweeted cable TV network (excludes sports/award show networks), generating 27.9 million Tweets, a solid 30% increase year to year (vs. 21.42 million). Among all cable TV networks, ABC Family placed #4, behind sports-fueled ESPN and TNT and award-show-amplified MTV.
