ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Scores Multi-Week Highs to Rank #1 in Late-Night

Some early points on Jimmy Kimmel Live's weekly numbers, ahead of the regular press release:

During the week of February 10, 2014, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live was up for the 2nd consecutive week in Total Viewers (+6%) to draw its biggest overall audience in 8 weeks - since the week of 12/16/13. JKL also grew its overall audience over the same week last year by 5%. JKL grew to a 5-week high in Adults 18-49 (since the week of 1/6/14), up week to week by 9%.

· ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live was the week's #1 talk show in late-night in both Total Viewers and Adults 18-49.

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of February 10, 2014, ABC grew for the 2nd straight week in Total Viewers (+5% - 2.261 million vs. 2.163 million) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 770,000 vs. 717,000) to deliver its best performance in late-night in 3 weeks - since the week of 1/20/14.

· ABC was the week's No. 1 network in late-night in Total Viewers (2.261 million) and Adults 18-49 (770,000).

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F 11:35 p.m.)

During the week of February 10, 2014, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was up for the 2nd consecutive week in Total Viewers (+6% - 2.621 million vs. 2.466 million) to draw its biggest overall audience in 8 weeks - since the week of 12/16/13. "JKL" also grew its overall audience over the same week last year by 5% (2.498 million on w/o 2/11/13). "JKL" grew to a 5-week high in Adults 18-49 (since the week of 1/6/14), up week to week by 9% (900,000 vs. 828,000).

· ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was the week's No. 1 talk show in late-night in both Total Viewers (2.621 million) and Adults 18-49 (900,000).

"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)

ABC News' "Nightline" drew 1.560 million Total Viewers, 722,000 Adults 25-54 and 517,000 Adults 18-49 for the week of February 10, 2014, according to Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" outdelivered CBS' "The Late Late Show" during the week in Total Viewers (+254,000), Adults 25-54 (+122,000) and Adults 18-49 (+49,000). "Nightline" led the CBS program by its largest Total Viewers advantage in 7 weeks - since w/o 12/23/13. Further, the ABC program has beaten "The Late Show" in Total Viewers in 20 of 21 weeks of the season.

"Nightline" improved week to week in Adults 25-54 (+9%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%) - 665,000 and 498,000, respectively, on w/o 2/3/14. In fact, "Nightline" turned in its largest news demo audience in 2 months - since w/o 12/16/13.

"Nightline" was up year to year in Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 25-54 (+5%) - 1.509 million and 687,000, respectively, on w/o 2/11/13.
