TNT's hit drama Rizzoli & Isles chalked up its best best Live + 3 deliveries so far this winter among total viewers as last week's episode garnered more than 6.5 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, a +26% leap over the prior week's episode. The program grew as well as among key demos, climbing to 2.1 million adults 25-54 (+25% vs. the prior week) and 1.7 million adults 18-49 (+18%).
TNT's Perception also grabbed its best Live + 3 deliveries of the winter as last Tuesday's episode grew to 3.6 million viewers (+23% vs. the prior week), with 1.3 million adults 25-54 (+17%) and more than 1 million adults 18-49 (+21%).
Last Monday's premiere of Dallas wrangled 2.7 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery and enjoyed a +3% lift among both adults 25-54 (1.1 million) and adults 18-49 (889,000).
TNT's real-life investigation series Cold Justice took in 1.5 million viewers in Live + Same Day delivery Friday night, a +2% boost over the prior week. In key demos, the show garnered 582,000 adults 25-54 and grew its delivery of adults 18-49 by +13% over the prior week for a total of 523,000. For the season-to-date, Cold Justice has increased its Live + Same Day deliveries by +5% among adults 25-54 and +19% among adults 18-49 compared to season 1.
TBS
TBS's original sitcom Cougar Town garnered 1.7 million viewers in Live + 3 viewing for last Tuesday's episode, a +3%increase over the prior week. Among key demos, the show grew an impressive +20% over prior week among both adults 18-49 (1.2 million) and adults 18-34 (588,000).
TBS's Men at Work wrapped up its 3rd season last week. For the season as a whole, the program captured 1.7 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, with 1.0 million adults 18-49 and 488,000 adults 18-34.
TBS's all-nerd competition series King of the Nerds came to its 2nd season close last Thursday. Overall, the program ended the its season with 1.4 million viewers, 1.0 million adults 18-49 and 487,000 adults 18-34 in Live + 3 delivery.
TBS's run of The Big Bang Theory continues to conquer the competition. Last week, the hit show accounted all 15 of basic cable's Top 15 off-net sitcom telecasts among total viewers and adults 18-49.
CARTOON NETWORK
Across the 3rd week of March 2014, Cartoon Network once again ranked as television's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 9-14. The network also ranked #1 on basic cable Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights (7-9 p.m.) among all targeted boy demos.
Cartoon Network scored as the #1 television network among kids 6-11 and all boy demos on Monday Night (7-9 p.m.), increasing average delivery by double-digits across the board vs. last year - kids 2-11 grew by 13%, kids 6-11 by 14% and kids 9-14 by 26%. A new episode of the original series Adventure Time (7 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 9-14, #1 for the day among kids & boys 9-14, and #1 in its timeslot among kids 6-11 & 9-14 and all targeted boys. Immediately following, Emmy-winning Regular Show (7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among kids 6-11 and boys 2-11 & 6-11, and #1 in its timeslot among kids 6-11 & 9-14 and all boy demos. Both shows grew delivery by double digits across all targeted kids and boys. The episode premiere of Steven Universe (8 p.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among kids 6-11 and all boys, growing among kids 2-11 and boys between 9% and 32% vs. the same time period last year. Completing the block, Annoying Orange (8:30 p.m.) also grew delivery across all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.
On Tuesday night, Cartoon Network's new episode premiere of Uncle Grandpa (8 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11, and #1 in its time period with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. The presentation grew delivery by double-digits among boys 2-11 (18%) & 6-11 (14%). The Johnny Test premiere (7:30 p.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among all targeted boys.
Wednesday night's episode premiere of Teen Titans Go! (7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the day among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, #1 in its timeslot among kids 2-11 & 6-11 and all targeted boys, and grew delivery by double and triple digits across the board vs. last year, between 25% and 111%.
Friday Night's line-up (7-9 p.m.) grew delivery vs. last year's time period among kids 6-11 (13%) & 9-14 (5%) and boys 6-11 (14%).
ADULT SWIM
Adult Swim's Total Day Delivery average once again ranked #1 on basic cable this week among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24, 18-34, & 18-49.
The new episode premiere of original series Check It Out (Thursday, 12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-34 & 18-49, growing delivery of these demos between 2% and 11% compared to the same time period last year.
The TOONAMI animé block episode premieres of Bleach (12 a.m.) and Naruto (12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among all targeted men 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49. One Piece (1 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among men 18-34 & 18-49. Space Dandy (11:30 p.m.) and Blue Exorcist (1:30 a.m.) both ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among men 18-34.
Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, American Dad and Robot Chicken - accounted for 20 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the week among adults 18-34, and 23 of the top 50 with men 18-34, both more than any other network.
