ABC Earns 2nd on Sunday in Viewers with "Rising Star" Improving Its Slot Year to Year

ABC Sunday Prime (7-11pm - 3.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49): With Wipeout, Rising Star and a repeat Castle, ABC (3.3 million) ranked as the #2 most-watched net on Sunday night to CBS.

Wipeout (7-9pm - 3.2 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49): From 7-9pm, ABC's Wipeout took second in its 2-hour time period among Total Viewers (3.2 million).

Rising Star (9-10pm - 3.5 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49): Building on its lead-in at 9pm, ABC's Rising Star earned 2nd place in its hour with Total Viewers (3.5 million), Adults 18-34 and key Women (W18-34/W25-54), while ranking as the #1 broadcast with Kids 2-11. Rising Star improved its slot over original programming on the same night last year by 17% in viewers (3.0 million for Whodunnit? on 7/28/13).

· The ABC unscripted series paced within 1-tenth of a rating point week to week in Adults 18-49, held even with Adults 18-34 and spiked 67% with Men 18-34.

Castle-R (10-11pm - 3.4 million and 0.6/2 in AD18-49): At 10pm, ABC's repeat Castle once again tied an original of CBS' Reckless in Adults 18-49 (0.6/2).
