Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers, Demos for Second Straight Week

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/27/14):

CBS (6.189 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) was the top draw for the second Sunday in a row thanks to its mix of "60 Minutes" (7.659 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7), "Big Brother 16" (6.516 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1), "Unforgettable" (6.385 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5) and "Reckless" (4.196 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).

FOX (2.237 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then claimed the silver with its repeat lineup of "American Dad" (1.401 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13), "Bob's Burgers" (1.654 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9), "The Simpsons" (2.170 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T5), another "The Simpsons" (2.575 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4), "Family Guy" (2.980 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) and another "American Dad" (2.644 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3).

Next up was ABC (3.334 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) with a special two-hour "Wipeout" (3.171 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) alongside a new "Rising Star" (3.549 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and a repeat "Castle" (3.444 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).

And finally, encores of "American Ninja Warrior" (2.990 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11), "Chicago Fire" (2.583 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13) and "Chicago PD" (3.305 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11) on NBC (2.967 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T3) closed out the night.

FOX (2.586 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a close second in adults 18-49 with its lineup of "American Dad" (1.570 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12), "The Simpsons" (1.955 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10), another "The Simpsons" (3.000 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3), "Bob's Burgers" (2.582 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5), "Family Guy" (3.065 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3) and another "Family Guy" (3.346 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2).

Next up was ABC (3.272 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with a repeat of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.258 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11) followed by the season finale of "Celebrity Wife Swap" (3.020 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7), a new "Whodunnit?" (3.023 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) and a repeat of "Castle" (2.785 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #16).

And finally, NBC (2.952 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) closed out the evening with repeats of "America's Got Talent" (3.078 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12) and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.725 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12) plus a new "Crossing Lines" (2.927 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #17).
