"Dateline NBC" Reports the Network's Highest 18-49 Rating in Its Hour in Eight Months
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, November 14.

Friday Primetime Results:

· "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers.

· "Dateline NBC" reported the network's highest 18-49 rating in the hour in eight months (since March 7, 1.5). "Dateline" is up week to week by +7% in adults 18-49 (from a 1.4 to a 1.5) and up +1% in total viewers (7.869 million to 7.974 million).

· "Grimm" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) Is currently up +1% in total viewers week to week (4.982 million vs. 4.931 million) to hit a three-week high (best since the series debut on Oct. 24 averaged 5.3 million), pending updates. "Grimm" ranks #2 in the slot in all key measures among the Big 4 (including a tie for #2 in men 18-34).

· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, growing last week by +68% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to this next-day L+SD rating (from a 1.31 to a 2.20).

· "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) achieved a three-week high in total viewers (best since the series debut on Oct. 24 averaged 4.3 million), up week to week by +9% (3.438 million vs. 3.141 million).

· In adults 18-34 (0.5) and adults 25-54 (1.2), "Constantine" maintained 100% of the prior week's rating.

· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, increasing last week by +65% when L+3 time-shifted viewing was added to this next-day L+SD rating (from a 0.98 to a 1.62). Counting all L+7 time-shifting plus alternate platforms, the "Constantine" premiere on Oct. 24 grew by +80% versus these next-day L+SD results (to a 2.50 in Alternate Platform L+7 from a 1.39 in L+SD). Alternate platform growth alone accounted for 0.38 of a rating point, a +27% increase on the L+SD rating.

Last week's L+3 Results:

· "Dateline NBC" grew by +15% in 18-49 (from a 1.39 to a 1.60) and 707,000 viewers overall (7.9 million to 8.6 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· "Grimm" increased by +68% in 18-49 (from a 1.31 to a 2.20) and 2.4 million viewers overall (4.9 million to 7.3 million).

· "Constantine" grew by +65% in 18-49 (from a 0.98 to a 1.62) and more than 1.5 million viewers overall (3.1 million vs. 4.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

"Live Plus Three Day" Results for Monday, Nov. 10:

In "live plus three day" Nielsens, "The Blacklist":

· Hit a four-week high in 18-49 (4.15, best since Oct. 13, 4.23) and a five-week high in total viewers (14.887 million, best since Oct. 6, 15.124 million).

· Grew by +66% in 18-49 (from a 2.50 rating to a 4.15) and 5.134 million viewers overall (from 9.753 million to 14.887 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

· Was the #1 drama of the night in:

· L+SD (2.50) and L+3 adults 18-49 (4.15).

· 18-49 ratings lift from L+SD to L+3 (+1.65).

· 18-49 percentage lift (+66%).

· L+3 total viewers (14.887 million).

· Overall viewer lift (+5.134 million).

· Total-viewer percentage lift (+53%).

· The increase made "The Blacklist" Monday night's #1 telecast on the Big 4 in L+3 total viewers with 14.887 million viewers, ahead of all scripted competition as well as ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" (14.582 million), which had been #1 in L+SD results.

· The prior week's increase of 5.4 million viewers in L+3 was the biggest gain for any program on cable or broadcast for that week.

"The Voice":

· Grew by +23% in 18-49 (from a 3.25 to a 3.98) and 1.913 million viewers overall (from 11.484 million to 13.397 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
