Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Claims Top Spot in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/18/14):

CBS (14.748 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) moved into the top spot on Tuesday with its trio of "NCIS" (17.889 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.6, #T1), "NCIS: New Orleans" (16.677 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #3) and "Person of Interest" (9.679 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5).

NBC (7.678 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) then had to settle for second place with its mix of "The Voice" (10.497 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #T1), "Marry Me" (5.327 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5), "About a Boy" (4.307 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10) and "Chicago Fire" (7.718 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4).

Next up was FOX (3.382 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) with originals from "MasterChef Junior" (4.180 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.5, #8), "New Girl" (2.800 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.4, #9) and "The Mindy Project" (2.371 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T12).

Meanwhile, ABC (4.483 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) served up a repeat of "Shark Tank" (4.504 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T12) followed by new episodes of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (4.535 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5) and "Forever" (4.409 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T14).

And finally, new episodes of "The Flash" (3.579 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T10) and "Supernatural" (2.627 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T14) on The CW (3.103 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "The Flash" posted a 1.0 rating while "Supernatural" delivered a 0.9 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (15.452 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #1) rose to the top spot on Tuesday with its mix of "NCIS" (19.388 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (14.901 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T3) and "Person of Interest" (12.065 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #6).

ABC (6.942 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T2) and NBC (8.330 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T2) then split the silver as the latter served up new episodes of "The Biggest Loser 15" (6.333 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.8, #8), "The Voice" (11.222 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.437 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #7).
