"GOLD RUSH" SETS SEASON RECORD WITH 6.1 MILLION VIEWERS ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 30

Discovery Channel #1 in All of Television For Men and #1 on Cable For Women on Friday

Discovery Channel's GOLD RUSH was the #1 program in ALL OF TELEVISION among Men 25-54/18-49/18-34 delivery for the fifth consecutive week, no exclusions on Friday, January 30, in L+3. ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE scored a series-high in Persons 25-54 and Total Viewers P2+ while Discovery Channel was #1 in all of television for Men and #1 on cable among Women in Prime Time on Friday.

GOLD RUSH at 9PM earned a 4.46 Households (HH) / 3.26 P25-54 / 4.40 M25-54 / 2.59 P18-49 / 3.48 M18-49 / 1.85 P18-34 / 2.18 M18-34 AA% with 6.127 million Total Viewers P2+. It was the #1 program in ALL OF TELEVISION with M25-54, M18-49 and M18-34 delivery for the fifth consecutive week. GOLD RUSH was also Friday night's #1 program in cable among Households, Persons 25-54, Women 25-54, Persons 18-49, Women 18-49, Persons 18-34 and Total Viewers P2+ delivery.

GOLD RUSH beat broadcast programs in Men 25-54 that included ABC's Shark Tank (by +18%), Last Man Standing (by +56%), and 20/20 (by +79%); CBS's Hawaii 5-0 (by +24%), Blue Bloods (by +36%), and Undercover Boss (by +121%); and NBC's Grimm (by +42%) and Dateline (by +174%).

ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE at 10PM scored a series-high in both Persons 25-54 and Total Viewers P2+. It earned a 3.47 HH / 2.64 P25-54 / 3.33 M25-54 / 2.10 P18-49 / 2.62 M18-49 / 1.50 P18-34 / 1.80 M18-34 AA% with 4.887 million Total Viewers P2+. It was the #2 cable program among HH, Persons 25-54, Men 25-54, Women 25-54, Persons 18-49, Men 18-49, Women 18-49, Persons 18-34, Men 18-34 and Total Viewers P2+ delivery, behind only GOLD RUSH.

Driven by record ratings and viewership for both GOLD RUSH and ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE , Discovery Channel was the #1 network in ALL OF TELEVISION among Men 25-54/18-49/18-34 delivery, no exclusions.
