Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Takes Top Spots in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/13/15):

CBS (9.300 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the network to beat on Friday with its mix of "The Amazing Race" (6.823 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2), "Hawaii Five-0" (9.793 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Blue Bloods" (11.285 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2).

ABC (6.118 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was a close second with originals from "Last Man Standing" (7.021 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5), "Cristela" (5.271 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8), "Shark Tank" (7.221 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "20/20" (4.989 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7).

Next up was NBC (4.605 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with a repeat of "Grimm" (2.641 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #11) plus a two-hour "Dateline NBC" (5.587 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.370 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up the spring finale of "World's Funniest Fails" (2.685 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9) and a new "Glee" (2.055 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10).

And finally, repeats of "Hart of Dixie" (0.801 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.663 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12) and another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.655 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14) closed out the evening on The CW (0.730 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.2, 0.1 and 0.1 rating, respectively.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (3/14/14):

ABC (6.318 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) kept its demo win streak alive on Friday with its mix of a "Last Man Standing" (4.898 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10) repeat followed by originals from "The Neighbors" (3.918 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8), "Shark Tank" (7.416 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) and "20/20" (7.130 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1).

CBS (9.717 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then took home the silver with the season finale "Undercover Boss" (7.075 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6) alongside new episodes of "Hawaii Five-0" (10.057 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #5) and "Blue Bloods" (12.019 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4).

Next up was NBC (4.796 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with fresh installments of "Dateline NBC" (6.389 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #7), "Grimm" (5.406 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) and "Hannibal" (2.592 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.733 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up the relocated "Rake" (1.911 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12) alongside new episodes of "Enlisted" (1.567 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11) and "Raising Hope" (1.546 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

And finally, The CW (1.154 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.318 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #15), another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.404 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12) and the special "Colin & Brad: Two Man Group" (0.946 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16).
