"Nightline" is #1 for the Week in Total Viewers

"Nightline" Ranks #1 in Total Viewers Season to Date

"Nightline" Grows Week-to-Week and Year-to-Year in Total Viewers, Adults 25-54 and Adults 18-49

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.396 million) during the week of June 29, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" outdelivered CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (+224,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers (+116,000).

In addition, "Nightline" beat CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in Adults 25-54 (+147,000) and Adults 18-49 (+69,000).

"Nightline" posted week-to-week increases (1.312 million, 537,000, and 425,000, respectively, on w/o 6/22/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+6%), Adults 25-54 (+15%) and Adults 18-49 (+7%).

"Nightline" also improved on the year-ago week (1.385 million, 578,000, and 434,000, respectively, on w/o 6/30/14) in all 3 measures: Total Viewers (+1%), Adults 25-54 (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%).

Season to date, ABC News' "Nightline" ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers (1.653 million), outdelivering CBS' average of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson"/"The Late Late Show"/"The Talk - After Dark"/"The Late Late Show with James Corden" (+267,000) and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers (+152,000).

NOTE: Due to the July 4th holiday, all three programs were coded specials on Friday and each telecast was excluded from the averages. The weekly averages for all three programs are based on 4 days (Mon-Thurs).

ABC News' "Nightline" is anchored by Dan Harris, Juju Chang and Byron Pitts. Roxanna Sherwood is executive producer, and Steven Baker is Senior Broadcast Producer. The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. Together with "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Nightline" is part of ABC's winning late night strategy of airing news and entertainment programming.
