"The Tonight Show" Dominates ABC, CBS Timeslot Competition for Week of July 20-24

"THE TONIGHT SHOW" DOMINATES ABC, CBS TIMESLOT COMPETITION FOR WEEK OF JULY 20-24

Both Fallon and "Late Night" Score Decisive Wins in 18-49, Total Viewers and All Other Key Measures

NEW YORK - July 30, 2015 - NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have won the ratings week of July 20-24 versus their ABC and CBS time-period competition in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures.

Note that "Jimmy Kimmel Live," "Late Night" and "Late Late Show with James Corden" were in rebroadcast on Friday night.

Fallon outscored ABC's "Kimmel" by an +84% margin in adult 18-49 rating (0.90 vs. 0.49) and the "NCIS" "CBS Summer Showcase" encores by +73% (0.90 vs. 0.52).

Meyers beat CBS's "Late Late Show" in 18-49 by a +61% margin (0.45 vs. 0.28) and, in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. ET, topped ABC's "Nightline" by +56% (0.53 vs. 0.34 for that half-hour).

Fallon topped "Kimmel" and CBS's "Summer Showcase" encores in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. At 12:35 a.m. ET, Meyers beat "Late Late Show" in every key measure, and in his head-to-head half-hour versus "Nightline" from 12:30-1 a.m., Meyers also prevailed in all key categories.
