Science Channel Delivers Best August Prime Time Ever in Persons 18-49

SCIENCE CHANNEL DELIVERS BEST AUGUST PRIME TIME EVER IN PERSONS 18-49

Science Channel set August Prime Time audience records in Persons 18-49 in August 2015 and continued to move up numerous demo rankers vs. August 2014 in L+3, as the network's programming delivered strong viewership for the month.

In Persons 18-49 during Prime Time, Science Channel achieved its best August ever and moved up five positions on the Persons 18-49 ranker for the month to land at #41 among all ad supported cable networks on delivery. The network also broke into Prime Time's Top 30 for the month in Men 25-54 (#29), moving up seven positions vs. August 2014. Additionally, Science Channel built upon earlier 2015 Total Day successes (best quarter ever in 1Q15 and most watched second quarter in 2Q15) by moving up the Men 25-54 Total Day delivery ranker a whopping 12 spots vs. August 2014 to #32 among all ad supported cable networks for the month.

OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE concluded its third season in August and now ranks as the network's most watched series in 2015-to-date in both Persons 25-54 (257,000) and Total Viewers P2+ (574,000). HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS delivered its most watched episode in the history of the series on Science Channel on August 4 with "Edge of the Solar System" delivering 550,000 total viewers P2+, while freshman series RACE TO ESCAPE ended its season in August with an average 397,000 total viewers P2+, up double digits (+19%) from the network's Prime Time 2015-to-date average.
