Discovery Channel Delivers Most Watched October Ever in Total Viewership

DISCOVERY CHANNEL DELIVERS MOST WATCHED OCTOBER EVER IN TOTAL VIEWERSHIP

Discovery Delivers Best October in Adults 25-54 in More Than a Decade GOLD RUSH is October's #1 Unscripted Series on Cable .

Discovery Channel delivered its most watched October ever in Total Viewers P2+ and its highest rated October in Adults 25-54 since 1999. The network also delivered the Top 3 unscripted series on cable for the month in Men with GOLD RUSH ranked #1 for the month.

Discovery Channel set October viewership records averaging 1.41 million viewers for the month, up +9% vs. 1.29 million viewers in Oct. 2014. The network also increased its ratings in Adults 25-54 vs. Oct 2014 by +8% (0.69 vs, 0.64). This marks the most watched October in Discovery Channel history and the highest rated October in Adults 25-54 since 1999.

GOLD RUSH was cable's #1 unscripted series (excluding Talking Dead) for the month in Men 25-54 with an average of 5 million Total Viewers P2+ with 2.75 (2,624,000) in Adults 25-54. Rounding out cable's top three unscripted series for the month in Men 25-54 were FAST N'LOUD with 2.35 million Total Viewers P2+ and 1.40 (1,337,000) rating in Adults 25-54, and BERING SEA GOLD with 2.25 million Total Viewers P2+ with 1.23 (1,170,000) in Adults 25-54.
