Live+3: ABC's The Muppets, HTGAWM and Quantico Deliver All-Time Playback Highs

Live + 3 Day data for the week of 10/26/15 (week #6)

On Tuesday, ABC's The Muppets soared +43% (+0.6 rating points) over its L+SD rating among Adults 18-49, marking the show's biggest percentage lift to date. The Muppets grew to a 2.0 Adult 18-49 rating, increasing its week to week growth in the L+3 numbers to 2-tenths of a rating point (2.0 vs. 1.8) versus a 1-tenth gain in L+SD.

On Thursday, How to Get Away with Murder scored the show's largest-ever L+3 playback increase among Adults 18-49, with an +83% jump over its L+SD rating (+1.5 rating points). HTGAWM grew to a 3.3 Adult 18-49 rating in the L+3 numbers to match its week-earlier rating (after being down 3-tenths week to week in L+SD).

On Sunday, Quantico became the season's first program on the major networks to more than double its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating (while also delivering the biggest percentage increase for any single telecast on any major net this season). Opposite The World Series on Fox, Sunday Night Football on NBC and the final half-hour of AMC's The Walking Dead, the sixth episode of Quantico skyrocketed +117% among Adults 18-49 (the show's best yet) after just 3 days of TV playback to earn a 2.6 rating. In addition, Quantico scored the season's largest percentage build for any broadcast program so far this season in Total Viewers with a +92% increase over its L+SD tally.

Season-to-Date TV Playback (9/21/15-11/1/15):

Based on L+3 ratings through six weeks of the 2015-16 season, ABC emerges as the #1 network in Nielsen's non-sports averages with Adults 18-49 (2.3 rating), beating NBC by 5% (2.2), CBS by 10% (2.1) and Fox by 15% (2.0). Gaining +0.7 rating points (+44%) over its Live + Same Day Adult 18-49 rating (1.6 rating in L+SD to a 2.3 in L+3) in the non-sports averages, ABC is the season's biggest gainer in TV playback.

Based on TV playback data, ABC's Quantico is the season's largest gainer in playback for any freshman program among Adults 18-49 (+88%) and the largest of any program on the major networks. In fact, ABC claims 2 of the Top 5 percentage gainers on the major networks with Quantico (+88%) - #1 and Nashville (+64%) - #4 (tie).

Quantico is also the #1 raw gainer for any new program this season in Adults 18-49 (+1.4 rating points), tied with NBC's Blindspot.
