Friday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Leads the Night Among Adults 18-49

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/12/16):

ABC (6.145 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was still the demo champ on Friday with its annual repeat of "A Charlie Brown Valentine" (4.567 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6) followed by new episodes of "Shark Tank" (6.691 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1) and "20/20" (7.179 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1).

The silver then went to CBS (8.589 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and its trio of "Undercover Boss" (6.123 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5), "Hawaii Five-0" (8.760 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) and "Blue Bloods" (10.884 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3).

Next up was NBC (4.135 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its mix of "Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon" (4.166 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #9), "Grimm" (4.132 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7) and "Dateline NBC" (4.108 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.659 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up originals from "Sleepy Hollow" (3.172 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #10) and "Second Chance" (2.147 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #11).

And finally, fresh installments from "The Vampire Diaries" (1.084 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and "The Originals" (0.802 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (0.942 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/13/15):

ABC (5.872 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the demo champ on Friday with its mix of "A Charlie Brown Valentine" (4.535 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), "Shark Tank" (7.667 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) and "20/20" (5.416 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3).

CBS (9.764 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a close second place with its trio of "Undercover Boss" (8.502 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Hawaii Five-0" (9.537 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "Blue Bloods" (11.255 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

Next up was NBC (4.127 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and the season finale of "Constantine" (3.131 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) followed by new episodes of "Grimm" (4.713 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "Dateline NBC" (4.536 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.123 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) served up originals from "World's Funniest Fails" (2.402 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "Glee" (1.845 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11).

And finally, the feature "Safety Not Guaranteed" (0.745 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #12) on The CW (0.745 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the film posted a 0.2 rating, respectively.
