Monday Primetime Results:
NBC ranks #1 for Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and total viewers, with "The Voice" and "Blindspot" leading six of six half-hours among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.
Estimates After 7 Days of Time-Shifting and Alt-Platform Viewing:
· "The Voice," 4.5 rating in 18-49, 16.29 million viewers overall.
· "Blindspot," 4.1 in 18-49, 13.32 million.
"The Voice" (3.4/11 in 18-49, 13.2 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Grows +17% versus its fall finale in 18-49 (3.4 vs. 2.9 from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015) and +5% in total viewers (13.236 vs. 12.601 million).
· Virtually matches the premiere of its prior cycle in 18-49 (3.4 vs. 3.5 on Sept. 21, 2015) and grows +7% in total viewers (13.236 vs. 12.371 million).
· Is the #1 program of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and other key demos.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - season to date, Monday's "Voice" has grown by +24% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 3.12 to a 3.88) and more than 2.2 million viewers overall (12.0 million to 14.3 million).
"Blindspot" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Returning after a 14-week absence, wins the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic.
· Is the #1 scripted show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.
· Wins the slot among those nets by a +50% margin in adults 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.2 for CBS's #2 "NCIS: LA").
· Returns to the schedule with a 95% retention of the show's fall finale in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.9 on Nov. 23, 2015) and 97% in total viewers (6.840 million vs. 7.026 million).
· Grows dramatically via time-shifting and VOD viewership:
· "Blindspot" has increased by +78% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 2.33 to a 4.14) and more than 5.5 million viewers overall (8.3 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Blindspot" is the #1 series on the Big 4 this season in viewership gains going from L+SD to L+7 (+5.533 million).
· Upscale: "Blindspot" is generating a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 126 among adults 18-49 living in home with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
