Investigation Discovery Is #1 Network for Women in Total Day Delivery in August

INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY IS #1 NETWORK FOR WOMEN IN TOTAL DAY DELIVERY IN AUGUST

In a very competitive month, Investigation Discovery (ID) closed out August as the #1 network in total day delivery among W25-54, and the #2 network in total day delivery among P25-54 in all of ad-supported cable. In addition, ID had its best August ever in both prime and total Day delivery for P2+, HH, P25-54 and W25-54.

The season six debut of ID's hit series, HOMICIDE HUNTER: LT. JOE KENDA (Wednesday, 8/24/16 at 10pm) broke the network's record for best season debut of a returning series for delivery of P2+ (1.989 million), HH (1.602M) and P25-54 (799k). The premiere ranked #4 in the timeslot for P2+ and HH delivery in all ad-supported cable.

In addition to HOMICIDE HUNTER, 11 other ID original series averaged more than one million P2+ viewers in August, with the other top performers going to ON THE CASE WITH PAULA ZAHN (1.336M), BETRAYED (1.257M), BLOOD RELATIVES (1.212M), SWAMP MURDERS (1.207M), and DEADLINE: CRIME WITH TAMRON HALL (1.196M).

ID continues to post strong year-over-year growth in prime, specifically among P25-54 with August marking 15 consecutive months of growth, while maintaining its reign as the #1 network for length of tune in all of television for W25-54 in total day, and #1 in all of cable for W25-54 in prime.
