Monday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "The Bachelor" Win Demo Race Once Again

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/23/17):

ABC (5.880 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) held onto the demo crown on Monday with a new "The Bachelor" (7.328 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) and the return of "Quantico" (2.985 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

CBS (7.648 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then was the silver draw with its lineup of "Kevin Can Wait" (8.606 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2), "Man with a Plan" (7.708 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4), "2 Broke Girls" (7.124 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2), a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (7.116 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T4) and "Scorpion" (7.668 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6).

Next up was FOX (3.901 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) with originals from "Gotham" (3.626 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7) and "Lucifer" (4.175 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.702 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) offered up new episodes of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (3.829 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9) and "Timeless" (3.447 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

And finally, the return of "Supergirl" (2.641 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12) and "Jane the Virgin" (1.025 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13) closed out the night on The CW (1.833 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.9/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

FOX (8.423 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) snagged the demo crown on Monday with night two of "The X-Files" (9.691 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.2, #1) followed by the premiere of "Lucifer" (7.154 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2).

ABC (6.463 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then had to settle for second place with originals from "The Bachelor" (7.698 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.3, #3) and "The Bachelor Live" (3.993 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9).

Next up was CBS (9.499 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3) and its trio of "Supergirl" (7.974 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T4), "Scorpion" (10.578 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T4) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (9.946 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #6).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.775 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) offered up fresh installments from "Superstore" (4.893 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #7), "Telenovela" (3.258 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10) and "The Biggest Loser" (3.626 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8).
