INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY CLOSES 1Q 2017 AS TOP FIVE NETWORK IN PRIME FOR W25-54 AND HOLDS ONTO #1 SPOT IN DEMO FOR TOTAL DAY

America's leading true crime network Investigation Discovery (ID) closed out the first quarter of 2017 as the #5 network in prime delivery of W25-54 in ad-supported cable, and held onto its coveted spot as the #1 network in for total day delivery of W25-54 on Live+3 Day viewing. Among P25-54, ID ranked #2 for total day delivery, behind only ESPN.

ID achieved its best first quarter and best March in network history for prime and total day delivery among all key demos, including P2+, HH, P254-54, W25-54, P18-49 and W18-49. 1Q 2017 marked 33 consecutive quarters of year-over-year prime delivery growth among P2+.

Programming drivers for this growth included the special, IS O.J. INNOCENT: THE MISSING EVIDENCE as well as ID's hit series, HOMICIDE HUNTER: LT. JOE KENDA, each of which averaged nearly 2 million total viewers this quarter. Other ID series and specials that averaged more than 1.5 million P2+ in 1Q 2017 include: PEOPLE MAGAZINE INVESTIGATES (1.617M P2+); MURDER IN LEHIGH VALLEY: KEITH MORRISON INVESTIGATES (1.606M P2+); DISAPPEARED (1.604M P2+); EVIL LIVES HERE (1.603M P2+); and MURDER CALLS (1.525M P2+).

ID continued its reign as the #1 network in total day length of tune in all of television for both P25-54 and W25-54, a record it has maintained for five straight years. ID was also #1 in prime length of tune in all of ad-supported cable.
