Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Extends Win Streak in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/10/17):

NBC (5.015 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with fresh installments of "American Ninja Warrior" (5.566 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T1) and "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (3.914 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3).

ABC (4.584 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was a close second with a new "The Bachelorette" (5.630 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T1) and a rebroadcast of "The Gong Show" (2.493 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5).

Next up was FOX (2.491 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with originals from "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.942 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) and "Superhuman" (2.041 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.729 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) served up repeats of "Kevin Can Wait" (4.065 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), "Man with a Plan" (3.604 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9), "Mom" (3.860 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5), "Life in Pieces" (3.333 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Scorpion" (3.757 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11).

And finally, a repeat "Supergirl" (1.064 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T13), a new "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.048 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) and a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.979 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T13) rounded out the night on The CW (1.039 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (7/11/16):

ABC (5.536 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) was the most-watched network on Monday with new episodes of "The Bachelorette" (6.750 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "Mistresses" (3.109 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

NBC (5.293 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with a new "American Ninja Warrior" (6.192 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) and a repeat "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (3.494 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3).

Next up was FOX (2.854 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) with its expanded two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.854 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.809 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up repeats of "Mom" (4.654 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4), "2 Broke Girls" (4.071 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6) and "Scorpion" (3.895 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #8) plus a new "BrainDead" (3.169 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9).

And finally, encores of "Just for Laughs Starring Howie Mandel" (1.144 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #10) and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.842 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #11) on The CW (1.068 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the night.
