OXYGEN MEDIA'S "THE DISAPPEARANCE OF NATALEE HOLLOWAY" BECOMES HIGHEST RATED TRUE CRIME SERIES PREMIERE IN NETWORK HISTORY

New York, NY - August 29, 2017 - Oxygen Media's "The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway" debuted as the highest rated true crime series premiere in network history, with a cumulative 1.1 Million total viewers on premiere night wanting to see the real-time investigation that continues to make headlines across the country. Additionally, 324,000 viewers in the coveted F25-54 demo tuned in, also setting a network record for a true crime series premiere. Having been in the true crime space for more than a decade, the ratings success comes nearly one month after the network announced it completed its rebrand to a full-time true crime destination. With a new slate of high quality true crime programming, Oxygen has become the fastest growing cable entertainment network, up +54% among total viewers in total day, year over year.

Premiering Saturdays at 7PM and 9PM ET/PT, "The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway" is a six-part series following Dave Holloway's journey, along with the family's long time private investigator, TJ Ward, as they conduct a high-stakes real time investigation into what they believe to be the best lead the case has received in 12 years. The series made national headlines earlier this month when Holloway and Ward came forward, revealing their work in Aruba yielded bone fragments that are currently undergoing DNA testing in the United States. Lab reports have confirmed the fragments come from a person of Caucasian, European descent. According to the forensic scientists overseeing the DNA testing, conclusive results will come sometime in September, announcing whether or not the DNA is a match to Natalee Holloway.

"The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway" is produced by Brian Graden Media with Brian Graden, Dave Mace, LB Horschler and Alex Weresow serving as Executive Producers.
