Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "Roseanne" Take Home Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/10/18):

ABC (5.947 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was sparked to another demo victory on Tuesday with its mix of "Roseanne" (13.467 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), "The Middle" (7.477 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2), "Black-ish" (5.098 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3), "Splitting Up Together" (4.196 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5) and "For the People" (2.722 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13).

Second place then went to NBC (6.224 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and its combination of "The Voice: Road to the Live Shows" (7.709 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4), "Rise" (4.528 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "Chicago Med" (6.437 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6).

Next up was CBS (6.896 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) with a repeat "NCIS" (6.443 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) followed by "Elton John: I'm Still Standing - A Grammy Salute" (7.123 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.099 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) offered up the return of "Lethal Weapon" (4.062 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) plus a new "LA to Vegas" (2.283 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10) and the season premiere of "New Girl" (1.990 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T10).

And finally, new episodes of "The Flash" (1.804 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T13) and "Black Lightning" (1.557 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.5, #15) on The CW (1.680 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5) rounded out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (4/11/17):

NBC (4.682 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) was the demo champ in a tight race on Tuesday with its mix of a "The Voice" (7.655 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) recap, a new "Trial & Error" (3.813 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T6), a second "Trial & Error" (2.945 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and a repeat "Chicago Fire" (3.011 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15).

ABC (3.483 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) then was a close second with its lineup of "The Middle" (5.228 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2), "American Housewife" (4.216 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.693 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Imaginary Mary" (3.093 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.336 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11).

Sharing the silver was FOX (2.623 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and the return of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.927 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T11) alongside new episodes of "The Mick" (2.154 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T8) and "Prison Break" (3.205 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).
