"60 MINUTES" IN TOP 10 AGAIN - MAKES LIST FOR 12TH STRAIGHT TIME
CBS Newsmagazine Makes It 22 Times This Season
60 MINUTES extended its streak to 12 straight on Nielsen's top 10 list. The broadcast drew 8.36 million viewers to land at #5, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, May 20.
It was the 22nd time 60 MINUTES was in the top 10 over 27 broadcasts this season, nine of those times ranking #5 or higher.
The CBS newsmagazine was Sunday's #1 prime program in viewers.
Sunday's 60 MINUTES featured Steve Kroft's report on the internet search dominance of Google, Norah O'Donnell's story on the deceptive rise and precipitous fall of blood-testing company Theranos, and Anderson Cooper's report on charges of sexual harassment and assault in trendy New York restaurant The Spotted Pig.
