Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "Ninja Warrior" Top Viewers; ABC, "Bachelor in Paradise" Lead Demos

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/27/18):

NBC (4.921 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) was the most-watched network on Monday thanks to a new "American Ninja Warrior" (5.809 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and a repeat "America's Got Talent" (3.144 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3).

ABC (3.867 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) then shared the demo crown with a new "Bachelor in Paradise" (4.590 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and the season finale of "The Proposal" (2.422 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

Next up was FOX (2.665 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with a fresh installment of "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.665 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.242 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up repeats of "Mom" (4.063 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and "Life in Pieces" (3.115 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #8) alongside originals of "Salvation" (2.566 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "Elementary" (3.570 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

And finally, new episodes of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.550 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.228 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) plus a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.191 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) rounded out the night on The CW (1.380 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.8/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.1/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (4.707 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) edged out the top spot on Monday with new episodes of "Bachelor in Paradise" (5.389 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) and "To Tell the Truth" (3.344 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

Second place then went to NBC (5.442 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) with originals from "American Ninja Warrior" (6.436 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) and "Midnight, Texas" (3.454 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3).

Next up was FOX (2.914 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) with its mainstay "So You Think You Can Dance" (2.914 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

Meanwhile, CBS (3.600 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) served up repeats of "Kevin Can Wait" (4.306 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6), "Superior Donuts" (3.639 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Mom" (3.795 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Life in Pieces" (3.306 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9) and "Scorpion" (3.276 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T9).
