Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "American Idol" Powers ABC to Demo Victory

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/17/19):

ABC (5.702 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was the demo champ on Sunday with its reality lineup of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.761 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "American Idol" (7.076 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) and "Shark Tank" (3.896 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3).

CBS (7.889 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then claimed the silver with its quartet of "60 Minutes" (9.929 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2), "God Friended Me" (7.812 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (8.334 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and "Madam Secretary" (5.481 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

Next up was FOX (1.827 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) with a repeat "MasterChef Junior" (1.522 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14) followed by new episodes of "The Simpsons" (2.044 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and "Bob's Burgers" (2.114 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) plus repeats of "Family Guy" (2.004 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T6) and a second "Family Guy" (1.758 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11).
