Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers, Demos with Dramas

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (5/10/19):

CBS (6.829 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #1) claimed the top spot on Friday with the season finale of "MacGyver" (5.427 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), a new "Hawaii Five-0" (6.640 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and the season finale of "Blue Bloods" (8.421 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1).

NBC (3.686 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) then was the number two draw with originals from "The Blacklist" (3.949 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and "Dateline NBC" (3.555 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Sharing the silver was FOX (2.895 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) with the finale lineup of "Last Man Standing" (4.674 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T1), "The Cool Kids" (3.425 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and "Proven Innocent" (1.739 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.566 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) served up the return of "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.344 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and a new two-hour "20/20" (2.678 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

And finally, a new "Dynasty" (0.454 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T11) and repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.521 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T11) and another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.547 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T11) rounded out the night on The CW (0.494 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/3 with an encore in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
