"THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT" RATINGS HIGHLIGHTS FOR OCT. 26-30
For the week ending Friday, Oct. 30 (week #6 of the 2020-2021 broadcast season), in live plus 3-day lift, THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (airing from its new studio at The Ed Sullivan Theater) averaged an audience of 2.97 million viewers, beating "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (1.69m) by +76% and "The Tonight Show" (1.50m) by +98%.
Season-to-date, THE LATE SHOW is first in viewers (2.95m), leading "Jimmy Kimmel Live" by +75% (versus 1.69m) and "The Tonight Show" by +98% (versus 1.49m). THE LATE SHOW is also leading both competitors' late night offerings in adults 18-49 viewers (449,000 for COLBERT vs. Kimmel's 397,000 and Fallon's 344,000).
Finally, for the week ending Oct. 30, THE LATE SHOW was the #1 late night show for views of current content on YouTube thanks, in part, to clips of Colbert's Monday night interview with Sacha Baron Cohen which drew 5.3 million total views. (Source: Tubular Labs)
