Season to Date, 'Nightline' Is Up in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, Posting Its Largest Overall Audience in 3 Years

ABC News' "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (808,000) for the week of Feb. 12, 2024, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "After Midnight" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."

"Nightline" posted gains week to week in Total Viewers (+9% - 808,000 vs. 739,000) and Adults 25-54 (+4% - 164,000 vs. 158,000), drawing its largest overall audience in 4 weeks - since w/o 1/15/24.

"Nightline" was up on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+6% - 808,000 vs. 764,000).

Season to date, "Nightline" is growing versus the comparable weeks last season in Total Viewers (+3% - 939,000 vs. 910,000) and Adults 25-54 (225,000 vs. 224,000), posting its largest overall audience in 3 years - since the 2020-2021 season.

This week "Nightline" covered the shooting that erupted during Chiefs Super Bowl parade; Trump's $354 million fine; the Wu-Tang Clan's legacy to hip-hop; Prince Harry addressing his father's cancer; ABC News Studios' "The Housewife and the Hustler 2: The Reckoning"; NASA's Black pioneers eclipsed by history; French bulldog owners on alert for brazen dognappers; Billy Dee Williams' new memoir, "What Have We Here? NOTE: On Friday (2/16/24), NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" was retitled to "Late Night with Seth Meyers-SM" and CBS' "After Midnight" was retitled to "After Midnight-ENC" due to being repeats. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages. NBC's and CBS' weekly averages are based on four days (Monday-Thursday).
