NBC WINS 2024-25 PREMIERE WEEK IN BOTH TOTAL VIEWERS AND DEMO
Network Captures Crown Once Again and Lands Six Shows in Top 10 in Entertainment Programming
· NBC was #1 for Premiere Week (Sept. 23-29) in both total viewers (6.2 million) and the 18-49 demo for all programming.
· It's the sixth year in a row that NBC has won the week in total viewers and 13th in a row in the demo for all programming.
· NBC was also #1 for Premiere Week in entertainment programming only.
· It's the fifth year in row for total viewers and second year in a row in the demo.
· Among all programming, "Sunday Night Football" was #1 with 20 million viewers on NBC.
· In entertainment programs only, NBC had six of the top 10 shows in total viewers - "The Voice" (#2), "Chicago Fire" (#3), "America's Got Talent" (#4), "Chicago Med" (#5), "Chicago P.D." (#9) and "America's Got Talent" special (#10).
· In addition, "Saturday Night Live" drew 5.4 million viewers on NBC in live same-day viewing in late night, the most for a season premiere since 2020.
· NBC kicked off three more season premieres this week with "Law & Order," "Law & Order: SVU" and "Found" having aired last night.
· The second season of "The Irrational" begins Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m.
· The new Justin Spitzer-produced comedy "St. Denis Medical" begins Tuesday, Nov. 12 with back-to-back episodes and the third season of "Night Court" launches a week later on Nov. 19.
